I remember seeing this suggested on an old suggestions site that the developers used to run and they noticed it too. I'm pretty sure it was meant to be in development at the time. Anyway, I think the developers could implement Google Translate into the chat system to enable language translation.

I don't think such an update would ever come. Devs give priority to demands of the Russian community. This obviously isn't their priority.

Believe me, I copied the translation 1:1 from google translate (back in 2017).

I can't even write those kyrilc letters on my keyboard ;)

 

today I checked again what "topic merged" gets translated to, and I found "Тема объединена".

Feel free to take this as an example of how an automated translater will work in battle ;)

It don't. I right clicked. A dropdown menu box appeared with options  i clicked "translate to English ' and nothing happened.

simple things, for example, thank isida for health or for strategy, however, since the servers are together is that not everyone can become quite tricky to understand any language. My idea was chat translator for in the settings that you can turn on and off message in language other than English translates to English. (this option is the meant for in battles)

Currently EN,DE,PL&RU server's are merged and the player's play together
It is so hard to communicate between players
So it will be nice if the Chat translated the comments to the choice of the players language
So the Player can understand what his team mates are saying
and it will be easy to co-ordinate your team

Wait, In the MM, they should group players that speak the same language.

Rather than adding a translate I have a better proposal.

• Add phrases to the chat, like if I press #1 it says 'go to point', in both english and russian.
• #2 It says focus on defence.
• #3 it says protect the flag bearer.
• and so on......
• Like this just 20 or less phrases will do the work and avoid long texts and then the pain of translating them.
• This system will be easier to implement, even small android games have these nowasdays.
• And most imp. I don't want to always type a msg again for my team after every 5 mins so typing #1 is easier than writing the text again.

The game was better when the servers were different like EU 1 , RU1 e.t.c but now, tht the servers are merged, mny ppl speak russian. We cant tell them which tactic to use or strategy to use. neither can they. I think Tanki Must add an In-game (or) in chat-Translator or atleast suggest us a translator tht works while in game (not like google translator). Or, make the in-game chat copyable. I mean we cant copy the text in game. If we can, we can chat using google translator. Hope you add some sort of translator or atleast suggest a translator.

Yes it will be good in high rank battles and Specially for format battles

But for the New guys it will be hard

There are several translators that can be used in a game, but they are all based on Google Translate. For now, until someone comes out with something better, what we got is all we got.

I had this idea that there could be a settings toggle that turned on chat translating so that people can understand each other. So with the name you might got to know it will be a language translator
So first you have to select your language e.g. English, so all the non-English words will be changed to English, you can turn off this feature too

Because it's not easy to do. Accurate translation in real-time in an online game is pretty much impossible.

I will be quite happy if this doesn't get implemented.

Too many of teammates stop play and choose to engage in long never-ending name calling games with opposition players in an intense Polygon CP xp/bp battles.
