hooorneet.png Main article: Hornet

Hornet M3:

Hornet is awesome, it has excellent speed while being very stable. The health is good enough to capture enemy flags without being killed and Hornet can do well in DMs too, as long as you use its speed to run away from short range weapons and heavy hulls. Getting  Hornet M3 at that level is just incredible. Perfect for close-quarter maps and also good in long range maps. Not the best hull for Gold hunting but still does the job with Hammer.

Advantages: Very Fast hull. Easily drift around enemies to avoid being shot. Good for attacking.

Disadvantages: Slow acceleration. Low weight, which means it's easily flip-able. Low health.

isidaaaaa.png Main article: Isida

Isida M3:

An essential gun in team battles. Can repair tanks within its firing radius and effectively destroy opponents at short-range. Repairs its own hull while damaging enemies. Works well with any hull. Having Isida M3 at this rank is just phenomenal. Isida M3 does a lot of damage to enemies especially when they don't have any protection against you and now that we are talking about the low ranks it is just too powerful to use. The best thing about Isida M3 is not just how much damage it does to low ranks but the XP you gain from it which makes you level way too fast, faster than you ever though. In case you already have Isida M3 I suggest you use it on any battle especially close maps like Polygon,Island,Hill,Ping-Pong and so on. So all in all definitely worth getting it!

Advantages: Repairs itself through damage dealt to enemies. A lot of experience points is given when repairing allies.
Disadvantages: Very short range. The need to recharge the gun a little more, just a little bit.

iiiiirbisssss.png

Irbis:

A paint that provided exceptional protection against Isida and Ricochet. Unfortunately since paints and their protection module are separated I can only say that if you really want to stand out from the others then buy it. Keep in mind to buy the paint when there is a sale otherwise it is just a waste of cry. For those who bought the paint before the update will get the paint as well as it's protection which is good for short to mid-range battles. It will also make your tank look like snow cat  :D

Advantages: When you playing on big maps like Highway, Rio, Serpuhove, Tribute with Winter theme it really helps  a lot since the paint looks snowy which makes the enemies hard to spot you from trees and so on.

- Hard to be spotted

- Your tank will look the same as other objects on the map.

Disadvantages:

- Mostly likely you will stand out from others because of the colour the paint has which will make you easy target for shooting.

- If you mostly play battles or maps with Summer theme then it is hard hiding in the bushes and enemies will see you easily.

Module_2.png

Badger T-B M3

General info about the modules:

Modules are special elements of a tank, the purpose of which is to protect your war machine from enemy fire. The modules have no visual effect or texture on your tank.

As you see this module is pretty good. It protects you from 3 different Turret just like any other triple protection does, however having 35% protection from Ricochet, Freeze, and Isida is quite useful. Thanks to the Paint Separation Update and the release of the new protection modules we get a 35% protection from 3 different Turrets instead of getting random protection against each Turret which is very good and you can micro-upgrade it fully which will give you 50% protection against three of the most used popular Turrets in the game.

Advantages: If you like playing in small maps where your opponents have Freeze, Isida, Ricochet than this is the module for you and one other advantage is that you don't have to buy the module separately since it comes with the Kit just like any other module does. Since Freeze is now one of the most powerful Turrets in the game, this module will come in handy quite a lot regardless of which battle you play since you will find at least 1 or 2 if not more Freeze users and that default 35% is a big bonus. Ricochet can be very annoying so having protection against it, is great while Isida on the other hand can be avoided, but in maps like Hill, Island, Ping-pong and some other small maps Isida can be a real problem for you and your team so the module helps you if you ever play one of these maps.

Disadvantages: Since the module doesn't protect you from any other Turrets except the ones that it shows than it is likely that you will have some problems playing against other players who are using very powerful Turrets which can easily take you down like Thunder, Shaft or even Rail. One other big disadvantage is that the module doesn't contain a protection against Fire. Fire and Freeze and both two very strong Turrets and Fire has that after burn so it is kinda bad that Fire isn't included in this protection. Personally I would have likes if that Isida was removed from the module and changed to Fire, but than again it is what the Devs decided.

Final conclusion: Personally I would suggest anyone who can afford buying it to buy it. You get Isida M3, 1 of the best turrets in the game which will make you level up fast and not only that but Isida is also one of the cheapest weapons to micro-upgrade which means that you won't have to spend that much of cry if you want to get it M4 unlike Rico or Fire.  The price isn't friendly but I guess that is to be expected from such a nice kit and with a cool looking paint  ;)

Finally, the end! I hope you learned a little about this kit. My review was heartfelt and what I hope to be an unbiased, true opinion of the quality and effectiveness of the weapon, tank, and paint. I also hope you have a better idea of what to expect in battle with this kit, and perhaps even a better grasp of the path you want to take in Tanki and what kind of kit you want to buy. If nothing else, I really hope you enjoyed reading through this short review, it was a pleasure to write and feedback is appreciated! Thanks for reading!

Slow acceleration? Hornet has the fastest acceleration in the game......

Well haven't you seen it when you going forward or any other direction while using nitro and all of sudden you stop your hull and try to make left/right it is just too slow. I'm not talking about it's speed but it's rotation speed, it really is very slow.

First of all, Hornet doesn't have low acceleration. Secondly, you can't categorize points such as 'low weight and low health' and 'fast' into pro's and con's. This is because if you consider Mammoth, these points are reversed. Making each other cancel out, which means these hulls are quite the opposite of each other, which they aren't.

Some pro's of Hornets should be:

1. Drifting

You can easily dodge shots with the drifting ability of Hornet.

Some con's of Hornets should be:

I can't see to find any cons for Hornet, except drifting really, because precious time is lost while you drift through a turn.

A minor suggestion:

You can minimize the use of font color, because it actually hurt my eyes while I was reading this.

Good work. By the way, include the specific module in your next installation, because choosing the right module is very important.

Well you can still list them as cons, because they are cons. Doesn't matter if they cancel out with Mammoth, because as @Hate is ONLY talking about the hull, Hornet, and if you should buy it or not, it is important to list all of the pros and cons, so the reader is aware, before making a decision on buying the kit.

I think ethanisme really needs this guide

Lol Ethan...poor Ethan

It's a good kit though

And perhaps this review could have included the author's experience using this kit?

Well this was just a quick review and I missed a lot of info that I wanted to add but perhaps I will edit it later when I get the time? So my bad if some important info is missing.

I do agree some of things you mentioned while disagreeing the others but all in all I will try to keep them in mind next time when I write/review something. Thank you!

GJ my bro, @Hate <3 Keep up the good work ;)

Most of the things you actually listed are pretty much based on luck, for example dodging. It is really hard to dodge shots with hornet, pretty much the only hull in the game which can usually dodge mosts shots is wasp for its remarkable speed and turning. Hornet can dodge some shots but its quite rare, as if you would lets say look at the statistics of which usually dodge it is probably like 3:1. Some cons of the Hornet is actually in the back, it sticks out slightly so even if you think you are protected by a wall, someone can still skim you.

Nice article, just one big contradiction here. Says hard to be spotted (ha, no pun intended i think), then says easy to be spotted. I would also add for an advantage that it makes your tank look very nice.

^ This should be added as additional info. E.g: The paint allows decent camouflage in maps with the Winter theme, although in other maps, you can easily be seen.

Yep and I will edit it later to make it easier for the readers. Thanks (:

Additional info: Includes cheapest gun and hull for m3 modification

I will edit it later and add this additional info you mentioned. Since I'm new to the game I haven't payed that much of a attention to their prices but from now on I will keep that in mind as well  :)
