So, I've just downloaded it and my first impressions are really positive. It all loads smoothly and fast, way faster than browsers and Standalone Flash. A downside for me is that it's rather hard to get the window to its biggest form.

 

I need to make the window bigger via the corners of the window, manually.

if You are on windows, just click and hold on the top of the window, then drag it into the top of the screen.

Have you tried clearing the cache of Internet Explorer? Sometimes it helps

Some way for it to run as installed, so I can use my dedicated graphics on it to run at max settings. Until then, I'm sticking to browser, where I can make overrides for the dedicated graphics.

1. loved the client ,

2. game play is fast now , i jump in battles in like 10 secs !! :D 

3. smooth ! , client is superb.

 

disliked/missing:

1. i cant access ratings of players in the client , it pops up my browser and then shows me the profile. And this goes with all the tanki stuff like forums .... etc etc !

 

2. whenever i open the client , the language comes out is russian , i have to change it everytime i open it !., and when i was installing the client i choose english as my default language but still its in russian !

3. i cant maximise the client window ! its a major problem with all microsoft windows users !

Worstest client ever. shows renter the game after every 15min. After clicking renter the browser gets close.

Sometimes the global chat box and battel log wont go after entering the game.

hi everyone seeing this 

the game client is soo nice 

it is a little laggy but it has better performance 

and also as some said and me it's telling me "re-enter the server" and I press it then it closes then I try to open it and the battle I was playing is all lost 

All in general the game client is better but laggy more than browsing and that's only ^ my issue

Most likely because no one knows the answer to it. Could you describe exactly where it goes wrong, what happens when you try to start it, maybe provide some screenshots? That way we might be able to determine what the problem exactly is, perhaps it's not Vista but something else that is causing the problem. Have you been able to download the client? Have you been able to install the client?

Get used to it and try to get Win 7 at least

CLIENT looks like made of very low quality (MADE IN CHINA LOL)

 

Mostly Loading donot complete !

 

You should add servers Button  for example you can see thirdparty software "OpenMyTank"

 

 

1. Add Button to Reload 

 

2. Add Buttons for servers   (e.g: Ru1 ,Ru2 , Ru3, EN1, EN2, EN3)

 

3. Remove automatic  FUll Screen ! 

 

4. try to relate it with standalone flash player ,  standalone flash player gives the best FPS

If anyone is using CCleaner, please tell me does the use of CCleaner affect Tanks Online Client.

 There is no specific file in source folder.2 ways to confirm that.

Play with new client for few days then use ccleaner & find the difference or ask to helpline. :)

Mouse controls in scope mode for Shaft still suck.

The standalone Flash player is useable, but not perfect.

 

Why is that? can you fix this please... I would love to use the Tanki Online client for Shaft aswell,

because the standalone Flash player has MASSIVE loading times compared to the client.

 

The TankiX client on the other hand has perfect scope movement when using mouse controls.

Hi guys, I cant find my previous post where I complained about LINUX version of the client so I quoted you guys. I wanted to share that I've managed to install the client on my Ubuntu box using a 3rd party tool to play windows games on linux (google: play windows on linux).

 

With some trial and error now have a fully functional Tanki Online client under my Ubuntu box and it is awesome. Ping 30, FPS ~60/58

 

Will do some further tests now that I have it. I also will install Tanki X now and give that t try. I tried it yesterday but not enough people do and there is a shortage of battles.

 

P.S. anyone who wants to run Tankinoline client under Linux/MacOS (google: play windows on linux) ans start from there. You can always ask me how I did it, but I do not check my messages too often (just when I have to complaint for something :D )

just write a detailed "how to" (software, version that you've used, sequence of installation (first, then, last..) and configuraiton; maybe tanki adds it to their help-page.

Well its like this. When i download the client and open it, literally nothing happens (Setup for client doesnt open) I deleted client instal and downloaded again, but it still nothing happens. i remember when i had same problem with installing flash player, but luckily i found a solution.
