i have a mac and i cannot download the client because mac doesn't support it any suggestions and will this get forward to the developers

For some reason the downloadable client does not work on Mac computers. When I downloaded the huge file it is a .exe file which does not work on mac computers. Can you please either add a download for Macs, or can someone direct me to where you can download it for macs.

 

If you are unable to do either of those can you please explain why you did not make it available for macs.

Worse than explorer. At least when it crashed I was returned to the game. With the client "Reenter the game" put me back to when I was on RU2. Lost everything. With explorer every time tanki sends a message my game crashed every time. I was hoping this system would be better. Absolutely useless. Reenter and sent to the moon.

This is Aunty's first post ever, so go easy on her.

 

  Client is great... virtually eliminated all lag for me, and I don't have the best internet going round, being limited to a 3g connection.  Graphics are sharper than the Flash Client shows, and far smoother.

 

  Given it's version 1, I don't have any complaints, but I do have a wishlist.

 

          1) That the client remember your language settings when you close it.

              So you don't have to choose it new every time

 

 

          2) That it start in windowed mode rather than full screen.  I have a wide screen picture, and

               although the aspect ratio is better than the Flash Player, its a monstrous picture to look

               around and find everything.

Erm, you could try running it in an emulator :)

Check your coding on downloadable client, there must be something which gets it AUTO flagged by Norton:

I did further investigations, public online virus software which detects it aswell:

I have Nod32 on my test server(win 8 running in virtual mode and original nod32) and it did also notify me about potential threat.

 

And this is not issue because it is new ''software'' as Norton/nod reports, some script/line gets the attention(if you feel like you don't want to search this ''error'', contact antivirus software companies and send them file for investigations, they will white list it, I have had this issue before on my own stuff).

 

PS, feel free to delete my post after mod/admin have read it(to avoid negative feedback). I am not accusing you guys about anything, just letting you know.

Erm, you could try running it in an emulator :)

Thats not how "emulators" work.

 

You could definitely get the tanki client running in an VM, or through bootcamp, but if you want more than 10-15 fps then don't.

The benefits of running tanki through a client are greatly reduced, or completely negated by the performance decrease.

I found the perfect solution of putting the Unistal file to good use

I get a huge 10-20 FPS drop with the same settings on when I use the client. Is it normal, or do I have to keep playing it? Keep in mid I've played for at least an hour.

Continue playing it! You will find your fps improved after you have played it for a long time. In the beginning it lags but soon the lags disappear.

I managed to get a king fps being 2 on it, after playing for some hours

Well, the Client is less laggy.

 

However,  I don't like the full screen, and the fact I can't do refresh.

I had 15-20 fps in browser version and 35-40 fps in client. ( In the beginning you will face those lags)

i just downloaded tanki online client...but i cant see lower icons ...for example in a battle where supplies are located or where we can type a message in a chat .... i tried fullscreen but still it didnt work
