this might be a Idea that can be done for the new items to buy if tanki wants to think about

What it is .. say the paint is $$ in cash .... why can't we buy the same amount in crystals ..?

also for the people who pay for it in cash would also get a bonus gift ..

so it would look like this

$19.95 for paint and bonus (would be say example 3 gold boxs or supplys )  or  90,000    crystals to buy with ( or what ever the paint is worth ..)

i also would like to see all the paints be given a choice to either buy or purchase with crystals .. this way we all will be happy .. if we can have a choice in the matter .. and lower the prices there way too over the top crazy $$..

Tanki is just becoming a "Pay to play" game... it's really ridiculous how the current system works, it just forces you to buy crystals to stay in competiion

SO I DON'T GIVE A **** ANYMORE

Hands down

Actually they do not force you to purchase crystals.. if you find out how the system of earning crystals really works, you can live well without spending a buck. But that requires thinking and analyzing the situation in advance.. or at least asking somone experienced. And discipline.

If you dont do this.. then you'll have a hard time in this game

I LOVE to have them sell paints for real money.. because it makes them less dependend on Drugs.

It would be awesome if those paints sell well... and maybe they invent some other items (like they did with XT tanks and turrets) that boost their income - but only if they return something to the community; like cheaper pro battle passes for lower ranks.

Excellent suggestion.

Nah not really. If those paints become available for crystals, they'll no longer be as exclusive.

If they can be made available through super missions, then it makes sense.

I wonder if the first buyers find out, that their purchased JackHammer Kit becomes a little "meehhh" once they have to face M4s..

And I wonder how big their eyes will grow, if they want to buy the MUs for that M3 kit and check the price  ;)

Btw Cedric, quite often the I&S section is spammed with useless stuff but there are definitely some pretty decent ideas over which surely deserve more attention.

I just posed 1 question over here and it got a response in no time. Had I suggested the same thing in I&S, I'm quite sure it would have taken AT LEAST a few days to get approved in the 1st place for discussion.

Probably the I&S works needs to altered slightly? It's worth giving a thought to this issue.

I'll take that as a positive review.  Glad the section is working as intended.  Yes we all want to have our ideas get an instant reply, but what you see in there are just the tip of the iceberg.  There's a lot of topics coming in, having to be filtered out for legit proposals, some get feedback right away as they are very obvious or known issues/solutions, while others have to be escalated up above to devs to get a proper response on how they will be considered.  So a few days is actually quite normal.

As for feedback to updates that have just been rolled out, that's different as we're all actively monitoring those and hence the possibility of us to be able to get you instant replies on your feedback.

As for the other remark in your other post about kick2, that's not true.  It was never ignored, it even had devs coming to the long thread and explaining their difficulties about the idea.  Yes it's a nice and well elaborated one, but it doesn't mean its feasible given the many constraints faced by the development team, both resource-wise and technical.  Instead the focus changed to alternative and complementary solutions.  A main one of these is the matchmaking system that's currently in the pipeline.

I hope you will appreciate that, and as Cedric mentioned already, development, specially on flash, takes a lot of time and resources.  We have no other alternative than to be patient.

A main one of these is the matchmaking system that's currently in the pipeline.

Could you open up a thread somewhere, where you explain the mechanism of this match making?

It would be interresting to see some facts in advance, before it is rolled out.

Pls remember the act of limiting the premium protection from 20% to 15%.. it was just due to the communities feedback!

Given the opportunity to understand the matchmaking in advance will give the devs the opportunity to benefit from players feedback.

Well as per request I've already included a recommendation for more info on matchmaking in upcoming vlog episodes or elsewhere to better inform players prior to roll out. Lets wait and see what comes up :)

Problem is that details are still sketchy, and if we give details now, they're likely to change and people will be disappointed.

If you just do it and roll it out, it will dissapoint as well, as players have different ideas and opinions (always) and noone talked to them in advance.

If you talk to players in advance; you can first line out the problem and your basic ideas to solve it.

Then you can explain your choises have give the players the chance to give their feedback.. which gives teh devs the chance to further improove it.

It is usually better to talk in advance and work together; then to code the thing twice. In a lot of threads here you can see, that the community has some decent clever people (check Kick2.0 for example..)

(on the other hand this rule comes out of the real world of business, engineering and social interaction - with grown ups :) )
