Can I provide my account information to tech support?

What Dage means is that it is clearly stated that Administrators will never ask you for your password, yet in that email they clearly do ask him for his password

Honestly, if it's from the official help@tankionline.com email, I'd give whatever they asked for. I doubt a scammer broke into Alternativa Platform at night and is using their computers...

What happened to all the posts? O_O

Hi.

Please send me the date of this email, or the nickname of the account with which this email has been sent out or if it has a reference number do please send me that and do so in private through personal message.

I'll track the email exchanges down, check up with the technical staff and see where the problem is coming from and will get back to you right away.

ps: I don't need your password

ps2: we both know each other, if you even try to flame up in this topic without giving a chance at helping you, then you won't be helping yourself out at all.

ps3: yes i can, that's why i have a red name and that's one of my primary function, don't even doubt it

They just reflect opinions and discussions, nowhere close to finding and resolving the problem, and unfortunately despite all their good intentions to help out they aren't really in any position to do so.

So don't feel bad or think there's some major conspiracies going on. Not the case.

And oh, I'm thinking you can actually validate what I said ps3 above :D

PS; So much confusion in this topic : First mods reply, gets hidden, Slam_Down makes post, Damn_Slow exchanges post, edits post, edits my post just to add a reason xD

yeah, that Slam_Down kid, big nub :P

Joking aside, @DageLV I'll be waiting for your pm so we can resolve this matter right away. And because of the confusion @Yisroel.Rabin alludes to, I'll be temporarily locking down this thread to prevent others from adding in to the confusion. Once we've resolved the issue I'll post in here again.

Thank you all for your comprehension on the matter

Hi all,

Thanks for bearing with us.  Just got a reply from the lead manager:

"We checked through the situation.  Turns out it was from one of our few new rookies freshly recruited for support staff.  Some come with experience from other places and old habits tend to persists.  But its been made clear that tanki has different policies and practices and they've been reminded of it, so we don't expect to see such things happening again."

Just to reassure the OP, your account was at no point left unsafe during these exchanges.
