I don't use FB often, so this may be a dumb question. When they post it, will I have to reload to see it or will it pop up?

Well, there's the risk that people will start killing each other for fund and score, but either way it's not up to me to decide.

Lol 30 seconds is ages. I'm sure the battle will be full within 5 seconds of the link being published. But don't worry - you should be able to get a chance to get in because people will be encouraged to stay for about 5 minutes and leave so that other can get a chance to participate (which is not the case with the usual events).

Hey everyone. I'm locking this thread because I'll be announcing the link and rules in here, and I want this announcement to remain visible and not get lost under heaps of other messages.

 

Here are the details:

 

• Map: Berlin
• Battle Duration: 10mins with auto-finish — IMPORTANT: Once the battle ends, you need to leave and make space for others. If you don't leave, you'll be kicked
• Be nice and play nice. If you harass other players, you'll get kicked out
• It's ok to poke a shot at me, but don't overdo it, or I'll get annoyed and you'll get kicked out

The event is closely moderated.  

Upon joining you agree to follow instructions from event helpers, usually displayed in yellow text as spectator in the battle chat.

 

Failing to comply with their instructions will result in a warning, followed by a short temporary removal from the game.

 

As long as you follow the instructions and comply you have nothing to worry about.  Lets make this a fun event  :)

The event was great!! It was enormously popular hence it was quite difficult to join, but I finally managed to jump into the Photoshoot. I got enough time to shoot some great pictures, so it was a real success to me. The unexpected gold rains were a great plus. Seeing you catch on was an extra added value. :D :P

 

The kicking leave or get kicked rule was sometimes unfair. I saw a player in the battle for about 15 minutes straight, but he wasn't kicked. Players joining in the last 2 minutes of the battle did get kicked if they didn't leave while they were only around for a very short period.
