quite disappointed because you were probably lagging and couldn't spawn in Berlin (the very first battle)

I tried to get in again to actually take a screen but lots of people didn't exit from the battles and stayed for long

Im leaving for good now.

If they cant even manage an event how are they going to manage this game?

The event was managed very well, it's just the behavior of players that makes it hard to make such events successful for everyone.

Extremely frustrated and dissapointed. I set time aside that could have been used much more productively, and now I have nothing to show for it.

I knew it was going to be tough to get in. But I figured I'd have a chance as nearly 20 of the players would be leaving each battle. No such luck. Many people stayed more then 1 round, some more than 2. I find that odd since Cedric said people would be kicked if they stayed in more then one battle. Certainly unfair to those of us who waited in the lobby for nearly an hour. It is also EXTREMELY difficult to get in, as evidenced by the fact that it took me 50-some minutes. I suspect some people were using auto-clickers, but I can't prove that, so I won't say anything more on that subject.

But Dragon, you said you had nothing to show for it. Are you exaggerating?

Nope. After all that time spent, my spamming of the mouse button and constant pressing of the enter key paid off. I saw the fabled loading bar, and after 30 seconds of tense waiting, I finally enter the battle! To be greeted by a fatal error. I'm somewhat concerned, but I know refreshing will keep me in the battle. So I refresh. This time I am greeted by two things. ANOTHER fatal error, and a spectator telling people to leave as the event was over. So, nearly an hour of waiting in the lobby for nothing but disappointment. At the VERY LEAST you could have TOLD people when the event would end, so as to save them some time or disappointment!

Not to mention the fact that there were problems when it started, leading to an unplanned change of maps!

This event was a great idea, and I'm sure some people enjoyed it, but it also had some great big honking problems that need to be addressed.

For those who don't want to read that block of text, here is a summary of the issues:

-Unscheduled map change

-A good deal of players stayed longer then 1 round, and the mods didn't do much kicking

-No set ending time

-Possible use of auto-clickers?

The battle should a normal pro battle, not a parkour one.

Hard to click 2 times, even u can use enter, still 1 click for join is better

I agree on this. Competing against auto-clickers is way harder when the format is Parkour. :P On the other hand, Parkour will minimize the disturbance of the event by players who're only there to make kills.

GG Thanks for ruining my mouse, pressed the left click button 69 trillion times, couldn't get in. You held it in an already populated server, congratulations this failed.

Use Keyboard and Mouse next time lol

EN3 was such a great server to be selected! It was totally empty and lagless. You couldn't have chosen a better server like EN1 or EN6 because EN 3 is so empty! Thanks a lot.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but the lags were mostly caused by the large size of the map. The admins were trying to get as many people as possible in at the same time and because of Tanki's server limits, the map tended to lag and cause crashes often. And on a full Berlin with 36 players it happens all the time on any server, so creating the battle on EN3 was not the problem.

The battle was recreated on Kungur and there were much less lags and zero crashes there, but obviously that came at the cost of having less people be able to enjoy the event.
