It seems to be adware... You must've downloaded some random software which contained adware. It isn't too hard to get rid of adware, just Google it.

I noticed your using a Windows PC, in which case I suggest you go to Control Panel and uninstall any suspicious software. After you've done that restart your computer. If that doesn't work, get back to me.

But basically what I'm saying it that it isn't a problem with Tanki.

OK, it looks like you have adware. Here's how to clean it up.

  1. Usually, adware is caused by an extension/add-on (in your case, a Chrome extension) that inserts the links everywhere. What you'll want to do is to check your Chrome extensions and remove anything that seems to be suspicious, e.g. things relating to "shopping" or "deals". This should solve your problem.
  2. If that doesn't work, it is possible that the adware is in your system, which is worse but still fixable. You can check your installed programs and uninstall anything that is fishy. If you don't see anything, you may want to run a scan with your antivirus program. Most AV programs these days will remove "potentially unwanted programs" like adware, so make sure that option is turned on and remove anything detected.

If the problem still persists, post here and we'll do our best to help you.

Yahoo has this kind of program too... Probably manufactured by Microsoft or one of it's partners.

Which browser are you using?

He is using Chrome from the looks of it. I had the same problem this time last year using firefox, and it was as simple as going into add-ons and removing the adware extension. I actually had to do it multiple times, but it eventually disappeared forever.
