[Declined] Chat box in our forum profile

Staff members have little boxes of chat, almost like mood messages, in their forum profiles. Why cant regular players have them?  It could have a 30 character limit, and you could post your clan link in it or other tanki links.

 

Players could even have a picture album-pictures that they've taken ( screenshots ) could be in the folder. The player would pick which ones they want others to see, and there would be a little album  showcasing them.

 

Just some thoughts, all social media and forums have little mood messages, why can't we?

The statuses would then become an extra item that requires moderation, to remove statuses with swearing, scam links and other inappropriate content. Developers made the decision to not make them available to players and only limit their use to administrators (who, I should note, are only allowed to use them for relevant informative messages).

I don't think its necessary, I personally think tanki is a bit understaffed. Not enough chat-mods.

Whether they are allowed to do that or no it's not big deal so don't make it.

^^ Exactly, do not ignore what the point was, players could use this to spread hate, put something profane etc, and the mods don't do that.

Cedric said that he'll sort out the reasons why some admins aren't using their status effectively, but the decision regarding this idea is final - players won't be getting statuses.

OK, administrators (or anyone else) are not supposed to use their status for anything not related to their staff position and the two statuses mentioned in this topic will be removed.
