Yes, tanki is very easy if you manage your crystals properly. It takes awhile to learn how to. But once you do, its great!

Heres a basic tip free of charge: If you want something, like an upgrade, calculate how much you have to save.

Set up checkpoints and milestones, like every 20,000 crystals, and reward yourself once you reach them. Make the rewards less costly, or make it something like going out to Sonic and buying yourself a milkshake.

Easy, you feel good about saving, and you track your progress.

That is a great idea, but I find that just not buying anything, and playing every day to complete missions will get you the crystals you need. Add it to your daily schedule, only 30 minutes or more set aside for tanki should be enough. But more will earn you more crystals.

I earn plenty of crystals, I have enough m1s to last awhile. Never bought any crystals, I'm saving up for the firewall kit. I don't see your problem, if you really want crystals, play polygon for 30mins to an hour every day, try to get first, and if you are lucky you will be earning 5-8k per DAY!

Or if you want to take the slow route, once you complete all your missions, don't play again until tomorrow, this way you will be earning 1200 crystals per day (attest for me) and usually only 400 exp, if you do that, you will be able to get buy kits as you unlock them without spending real money.

This gives me time to earn crystals from secondary sources like Newspaper contests, TTC, etc. Within a few months, I'm easily able to earn 100k+ without any significant increase in my exp's. Low ranks + High crystals = better garage.

Pardon me if this comes off as rude in any way, but I'm just curious and genuinely surprised (more like shocked) knowing that exactly 1 month before, your garage had exactly one m1 combo - hammer and titan. Now you have -

M3 shaft

M3 hornet

M2 dictator

 

1 m2 module

1 m3 module

 

I'm guessing 2 kits...

Crystals are very easy to get without buying . Even if you think that missions are noobish tasks. I earn about (somewhat) 1.5 to 2 k per day between missions and Battle Funds. Mostly missions. And between missions. Battle funds and the occasional gold box i had almost 20k saved up until yesterday when i MUed my Dictator M2 to have the armor of a M3 Viking . Now i plan on saving all my crystals to get a better M2 kit (Firewall) ajd then Healer . Should be easily obtainable.even though i only play an hour or 2 per day. Sometimes less. You just need to get some skills with your equipment

The easiest way to earn crystals is to get a job in the real world.

If you manage to work, to do some work for others and charge a little, mow lawns or wash cars, you can earn money.

 

Just compare the time used up:

- the time that it takes to earn 100 USD = 10..30 hours, depending on your skills and opportunities

- the time it takes to earn 800.000 crystals in game = 400..800 hours, depending on your rank

 

it is pretty obvious, where you should invest your time in.

Or if take your earned money to buy premium, you save a lot of time playing here (experience x1,5  = time 2/3rs) and you earn more crytals on the way.. which makes it a smooth thing. In fact you would save the time you used on your job easily in the game later on.

 

But pls dont start to charge your parrents for helping them doing your chores.. I mean, they also do not charge you for feeding you, hmm? Also dont invest too much here. It _stays_ a game, virtual goods, nothing that compares to an investment in the real world.

this here is like consumeables.. like buying sweets from time to time. Dont overdo it ;)

 

Seriously; in this game the players are underpaid in terms of "rewards" - but of course they are paid in in-game-fun. You can have a pretty usefull gararge as a fre player if you invest wise.. but you can also mess up completely if you think you can afford all the stuff in here.  All data based on an assumption of a single purchase of crystals for 100 USD, with double crystal card, gives roundabout 800.000 crystals, supplies and several days premium.
