Chat commands failing

As all of us know there is the /voteOFFENDER_USERNAME chat command but nowadays when we really have to report someone it says chat command failed and that is absolutely not correct.I bring this topic up to alert tanki and i want them to take charge of this problem.

Are you sure you typed the command correctly? Usually the 'chat command failed' message shows up when you mis type the command.

/vote nickname

 

There must be a space between "/vote" and "nickname"

It seems you're not using space between /vote and nickname.

 

If you wish to vote/report someone on a battle, you need to write /vote nickname , otherwise it won't work. Please check help site article "How to report a violator?" about reporting violators.

 

Also please remember that voting should only be used when there is a battle violation going on, such as sabotage. It's not meant to be used for reporting insulting, profanity or other chat violations.

It works fine for me, but the only problem is the Mods never come to the rescue. I have to report on the forum to be heard.

When at least 25% of the players present in the battle report someone, moderators get a notification and join the battle to deal with the violator.

I've never had a moderator come to my battle when reporting. It says your report has been sent in the top of the page (where it shows who captures the flag) And a mod has never come. When 25% of people report a mod should come but no one does.

It is not always possible for the moderators to come for the rescue as there are exponential number of battles being reported. It is best to record the violation or try to take multiple relevant screenshots and post them on the forums Game Violations sections once you reach the required rank.

That's what I always do, I report using command then take screen shot and report in forum. Luckily the forum reports never get ignored.

It's not that the battle reports get ignored, sometimes there's just no battle moderator available at the time and sometimes simply not enough players use the vote command.
In this topic is shown how much work the few battle moderators we have pull of each month. It's just a sad fact that they can't be everywhere all the time.
