Issues with Mac operating systems

Any news on when the client will be available for Mac?

We don't have a release date yet. I suspect that since Mac and Windows are different, they'd have to rework almost all of the client to make it work on Mac. But don't quote me on that. I'm no programmer.

I'm really surprised that Tanki was caught out by a Flash update like this.  I'm even more surprised that they haven't prioritised it and that we're still waiting for a fix. Safari is the default Mac browser - get it together guys

I'm not surprised. When your work is based on someone else's work, anything they do can bring you down. And there's usually no warning at all. This is one more reason why our programmers are working on the standalone client.

The downloadable Tanki worked well, but now it started crashing after 2 - 3 everytime i open it

Thank u for finally addressing this issue - I have tried CHROME  before w/out success but I will try again w/ your new prompt. I have tried many fixes w/ FIREFOX/CHROME/OPERA/SAFAIR-STANDALONE--none have worked. I have commented on another thread but I want to ad this jpeg because this one worries me that it may be a phishing prompt. Anyone know this pics origins? Is it a phish?

If you are using Safari, then you cannot log in to the game due Flash is updated, even you install and update it, it still shows the same pic that you show. This also happened to me as well, so I changed to use Chrome and it works well and I didnt see any problem. On the other hand, if you really want to use Safari , you can download the old version of it. Here on help site we have the topic about this.

Sure took Tanki long enough to respond to this.

I got  BS answers from "Customer Service" that misdirected me in multiple directions.

I even downgraded the Flash plugin per Tanki direction - the only problem being TANKI WON'T LET ME USE IT.   I get that stupid warning that my Flash plugin is out of date.

Could Tanki screw it up even more?

I don't know.   I'm sure they're trying.

Oh yeah.  You can use Chrome.  It's just the graphics go to hell.

Come on Tanki, change your Flash version gate so we can use plug-in v22, and those of us who have rolled back to a previous Flash don't have to deal with this crap.

^ I have provided a solution above. I don't know what you are talking about. The issue is not with Tanki, the latest version of Adobe Flash Player is not loading many flash-based games on Mac while using Safari browser.
So until they release a new version, it cannot be fixed, however you can still use the previous release in order to play games on Safari.

For me it used to be the same with QuickTime Player. My FPS dropped from 50ish to 20ish. One day it just fixed itself. I opened QuickTime Player and puff, no lag

I have a VERY BIG issue, mac computers do NOT have a delete button, therefore cannot self-destruct, therefore I have to go into my garage, change equipment and then play on..... Is there any way that we could make an alternate key for self-destruction?

Thank you!

same thing

If you turn on graphics fully then it can cause lag, try to turn off some of them. Anyway, I have lag too when I record but it also depends on the internet connection that day. Probably better trying to use another program instead of QuickTime player - screen recording, then compare whether you still have lag issues or not.

Not fixed and it's getting worse.

So for Safari, for the past few weeks the Flash player would crash when the game got to the point where my tank appears in the game.

But as of now when i click on the Play button on the home page I get:

Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.22.87 or higher is required.

Installation may take a minute. Install

Для игры требуется Adobe Flash Player версии 10.0.22.87 или выше.

Установка займет около минуты. Установить

My last Adobe flash player upgrade was 5 minutes before I got that message.

The Adobe flash version that I'm using is: Version 23.0.0.162
