Shop or Garage?

One of the developers in the 107th episode of the V-LOG mentioned that *we*, the players, prefer for things to be sold in the shop for real money instead of crystals in the garage therefore very recently released a new update, now only buyers are able to purchase a decent supply kit. I'm not too sure if it's us, the players, who prefer that, but the developers. Let's see about that.

I like it in both places. For example. Instead of buy 40$ worth of crystals to get Firewall when i rank up i can buy it straight from the shop for 37.99$ saving me 2$ .not much but still. But tbh. I think it was a very dumb move for Tanki to remove all the bigger drug kits from garage

Well, the reason they did that was (supposedly) to reduce the number of druggers. Although, I think that they should have allowed up to the 500 drug kit to stay, so that if you are a hardcore drugger, you can choose to buy drugs for real money and ruin the game for the rest of us non-druggers.

Whether the reason is to reduce druggers or to just take our money, it has completely ruined parkour for non-buyers... or atleast for me. :'(

My idea is to make drugs free. All your skill depends on what order you activate the drugs, meaning that ofc all drugs will have a cool-down time. In parkour battles you get drugs without cool-downs. IMO there's nothing wrong with this idea and this should be implemented right away. I see no reason for this idea to be rejected, objected or ignored.

Now that the 1500 supply kit is gone and now only accessible to buyers, if we, non-buyers, want to buy the same amount of drugs, it'll cost us 157.5K more crystals to buy them than before.

 

17.5K = 100 of each supply

 

15 x 100 of each supply = 1500 of each supply

15 x 17.5K = 262.5K

262.5K = 1500 of each supply

 

Previously:

105K = 1500 of each supply

Now:

262.5K = 1500 of each supply

These people are up to something....I think they are gathering ALOT of money for something big cuz the only thing that tanki have done to keep us still on the game is make us wait for the gold box supply, 2 new turrets...

Well, the thing is that I don't think it js as black and white as we are looking at it. Think about it. The shop expanding so much, making it pay to play even more than ever. Then there is this - in the ast week, I have seen 5 community managers and 1 developer on the chats. Previously, I've seen non. Coincidence?

 

The announcement of the new turrets, shop expanding, alterations changing how the game is played. What if they are planning something massive for TO?

 

They see numbers dropping, they decide to stall us with paint separation, alterations etc, then BAM, huge, game shifting update to speak peoples interests again.

 

This is just speculation, though. I could say a lot more but I'm on my tablet right now and cannot be bothered to type anymore. xD

This totally ruins fairness in normal battles, ruins drug battles and for me in particular, totally ruins parkour. I'm a very huge enthusiast when it comes to parkour but I don't think I'll even be able to compete in this year's MOP contest due to the lack of drugs!

I fully understand what you are saying. I dont think it is right either. But what if, at the end of it all, they DO add, say, new maps, new turrets, gameplay mechanics, rebalance and completely shift the game. However, even after this there is no telling what will happen to the garage and shop. It may stay the same. Pay to play. It isn't right. But, if they do retract all of the pay for items at the end of it all, it might just be worth it. We will have to wair and see. :)

A rebalance would be nice but, I have already mentioned about having another one and they replied by saying that they aren't thinking of having another one anytime soon. Well ofc, why would they? They know that the next time round we'll buy what we need. Unless they're thinking of changing anything to do with the currency, chances of another rebalance are extremely slim.
