Kill/death ratio needs fixing

So, I'm a rather well skilled player, getting 10.0 k/d ratios on average, sometimes higher, and lower hardly ever, so my profile k/d was at 6.19, but the ONE time I get 2.85, it goes down .60, when it only goes up maybe 0.05 for most battles. This game has so many irritating problems, like the shaft which is what i use. Sometimes when i spawn, I have NO control over it. So one match majorly ruined my k/d. Who knows? I get 2.85 again it may go down a full 1.00. This is irritating me i try to gain a good k/d, but the rare occasion i do bad it brings it way down and i often get called a noob because of the game's inability to work correctly.

1. K, the rating system sucks, no secret

2. Having a 3 KD is still good

3. Well, if you studied percentages and et cetera better you'd know why it goes down so much. Though I doubt going down by .6 was correct

I do understand percentages a bit, but it went down that much. not exactly, but close. It went down .3 actually. This was on my backup account, so it went from 6.19 to 5.89

Well, the amount of kills and deaths is relevant, but do you know about how many kills? I just need kills or deaths, and an approximation that can be up to 10 different from the actual number

Was it the last battle you played? If it was, here's the stats:

1588/263 = 6.03

Current one -> 5.9

No, it only went down by .1

Tanki was correct for one of the few times

I just nailed a 29/1, so hopefully that did something to raise it up a little

I know, but for some reason Tanki counts self destructing as a loss. How? U just fall upside down or on your side. U blow yourself up (If you are lucky, like I was in a Kungur CTF when I had the flag and I went sideways on my Hornet Twins. A Hammer on my team shot me the right way up).

Actually its proportional. The lesser kills and deaths you have, more likely it becomes for your K/D to fluctuate. The higher you go, the harder it becomes to change.

Yes LoganFranklin, you are correct. In some battles each time I die my kills go down by 2 for some reason. But if you look at my profile my K/D rose from 0.52 to 0.67. This is probably because I changed from using Smoky M0 - Hunter M0 to Shaft M0 - Mammoth M1!

I was actually out by enemy base on brest with my titan and shaft. I didnt die once and drugged once. I got spawn killed though when i joined.

The thing is, if your average K/D is pretty high (at least higher than 1), one death makes a bigger impact on your K/D than one kill.

An example:

Your kills: 20

Your deaths: 1

Your K/D: 20

Scenario A

You get destroyed once, which results in your K/D to drop by 10 points.

New K/D: 10

Scenario B

You make one kill, which results in your K/D to increase by 1 point.

New K/D: 21

On the other hand, if your K/D happens to be 0.05 (1/20), scenario A will only slightly decrease your K/D, whereas scenario B will double your K/D.
