Say I have 1,000,000 crystals I want to spend all on getting my random M3 turret to 50/50 to make it M4 pretty much, but it's at a flat 0/50. I'd have to go and click the button 100 times at least to purchase the upgrade and pay for the speed up. It gets annoying. But what if I'd want it done right then and there?

 

For instance, you press the upgrade button and you see the menu pop up on what gets raised by how much and the cost. What is there was a little box off to the side in that description? In this box, you'd put a number anywhere between 1-50. When done, you'd click okay and it will calculate the cost of all the upgrades it will take and for each speed up, so you'd be spending the same as if you did it one by one. you would then purchase the upgrades and be on your way. No speed up, because if you add up all 50...heh...by the following MONTH it'd be done.

 

It would seem to be an easy calculated system that shouldn't take long to implement, if it does that is, but it would save you a LOT of time, nor would your finger be aching after so many taps/clicks.

Unnecessary feature, to be honest. Very few players actually have so many crystals to spend on MUs at once that they have to click the button over and over. And even then, you just spend at most 3 minutes upgrading each item to full and 100 clicks per item isn't that much. It just seems like a waste of time, which could be used to work on more needed features.

I have this problem every time a sale is here, I was wanting to start this topic, but didn't have time. Like rail m3, I want to upgrade it to 35 but I have to click it 70 times to do that. click .... wait to load speed up ... click .... waiting....click.....waiting.

With 4,911 crystals, I could easily upgrade several of my turrets to at least 20/50.

You sure about that? I mean, maybe if they are M0. But I wouldn't waste crystals upgrading M0 if I were you, since you need to be saving up to buy M2s soon. That's over 200k crystals you need to earn before you become Colonel, or at least 100k if you wait for a 50% sale.

The only thing I will upgrade is my shaft, but i upgraded it enough by now. I was only setting an example for those who do.

Well I had read over the original idea again and noticed that mine was nearly the same. Tho thanks for liking it :-)

 

But to state it again: I wouldn't make the players pay the all the MUs at once. But make it to to a "subsricption" model, which means the MUs will be done without speedup and after finishing a step, the next step will be automatically started. And when it starts, the player has to pay this amount of crystals to this point of time. This continues until you have 50/50, zero crystals anymore or you press a stop button. What would be cool tho (yet unrealistic at TO) that you could get a small but increasing discount the longer this "subscription" is running.

You wouldnt have to pay for them all at once. You'd put in a number from 1-50. Say I wanted to get to 45/50, I'd put 45 in the box, click ok, then purchase and not have to wait

I think it would be nice to say when you type in you want to micro upgrade from say 12/50 to 25/50 - you type in 25 and it tells you the amount of crystals that would be, and if you want/can afford that then you click "okay" and then it upgrades that. After they write the amount of upgrades they price will be calculated (Including Speedups) after which It will be written Upgrade Item for "x" Crystals.
