Alright, I know I'm not the only one curious by a long shot, and I have a hunch that I know the answer, but just for total peace of mind: is the removal of kits from the kit section permanent? If so, it's now just a redundant slot that takes up data and space. The one lonely "100 supplies kit" could be shunted into the Special or even Supplies category if the removal of the Kits section is indeed a permanent one.

I am furious. Just want everyone to know that going in.

 

I am a new player - maybe 2 months. At first I just played I did not care about Cry or anything. Just the fight. Eventually I calmed down and developed a long-term development strategy. After squandering a lot of my early Cry I was going to save up for the Northerner kit. 

 

I believe in supporting a gaming company for a god product. I had spent a  LOT of hours playing so I did not mind spending a few dollars on premium memberships. I know about online grinding so I grinded to Captain saving my Cry all the way. 

 

On Saturday I finally reached that CPT rank. You have to understand: this was my first long term strategic goal, finally reached after hundreds of hours of play. (I run alts too.) I went to the garage and there was no  Northerner kit! There were a couple close ones. There was one I wanted for my alt - the exact one I wanted for my alt. But not the one I had worked for.

 

I went on chat and a Helper assured my the Northerner kit would be available this week after teh rotatoin. I asked him two, three time if he was sure. He was cheerful and said he was very certain.

 

I am not easy to convince. So the next day I did the same thing. This time 3-4 helpers were on chat. Everyone who answered assured me my kit would be available after the rotation. So even though I was a bit disappointed, hey, I had something to look forward too on Weds night.

 

It's Weds night now. I do know I mentioned I am furious.

 

I log on after the update and - no kits on my alt. Or my other alt. Or on my Main. There is no Northerner kit for me to buy! Well, not in the garage. But by coincidence I can buy it for $36 in the Shop Thirty-badword-six badword-in-gerund-form dollars for what I just earned through game play.

 

Tanki must think I am stupid. Or was born yesterday. What I know is, they do not know one damn thing about marketing to gamers.

 

Dear Reader, for anyone who has read this far ... just what odds do you place on me forking over $36 to buy what I expected to get for a mouse click last Saturday?  Just what odds do you place on me spending another kopek on this game? What odds do yo place on me abandoning this game, and mounting a vigorous bad-mouthing campaign through every review and social media outlet I can find?

 

So the one shred of hop I have is that some people are correct here, that this is a software bug of some sort. If not, it is the most stunning display of marketing ineptness since New Coke.

its not fair we need to buy kits only in shop rather than garage i have upgraded my m2 fire to m3 expectiing to  get discount in promethus kit so it is useless so many crystals i purchase to upgrade i think if it goes  this way i will stop playing tanki.i strongly disagree with the removal of kits from garage. :angry:

I have one question: WHy you not make missions like this: EARN 300XP WITH FIREBIRD or EARN 300 XP WITH DICTATOR?

Additionally, all equipment kits will now be available both in the garage and in the Shop for those who prefer to purchase them there. Small supplies kits will be available in the garage only, while big supplies kits (more than 100 pieces) will only be available in the Shop.

 

IMPORTANT: Kits in the garage work as they always have i.e. they are available on rotation. On the other hand, the kits in the shop are ALWAYS available. In other words, ALL equipment kits will be both in the garage and in the shop, but kits in garage will rotate, so only a part of them will be available at any one time.

 

So, tomorrow, make sure you find out what alterations can do for your favorite turret!

Seriously, Tanki, is this a prank or something? Its not even April Fools so I doubt that this is a joke.

 

I have always planned out my long term improvements and crystal earnings by precise calculations, and I have always gotten what I wanted, when I wanted. You have admitted that crystal management and kits are absolutely crucial for Mid-rankers like me. In the Mid-rankers handbook, it suggests you to buy kits so you can get through the tough middle ranks. The middle ranks are the hardest to get through, and without support from kits, it will be even harder.

 

It is evident that everyone is complaining about this "update". We have saved for weeks, even months for these kits. You have already taken the 1500 kit away, and what do you want now?

 

Saving for a kit is not an easy task, it takes hours of dedication, and many players fail to do so. Saving for kits was a very difficult and time consuming task for non-buyers, and now it is IMPOSSIBLE.

 

I didn't mind paying an occasional few dollars for premium to give me a boost when I need it, but I do not think spending real money just to play normally is necessary.

 

Please be a bug/glitch and I do hope that we will be compensated for this.

No, no, no. You are over thinking this. Everything you are hoping for is, alas, not true. As for the reason for the removal of the product kits from our garages? The explanation can be boiled down to one word: MONEY. In my honest opinion, the removal of product kits is quite ridiculous. They have been a key part of non-buyers' saving strategies and financial planning for years, now. Now they only can be accessed by the vast minority of players who buy regularly. Bring back our kits!

In fact, it might be an issue similar to Tankopocalypse. Remember that? You guys don't know coding at all, it's all too easy to accidentally remove or stuff.
