What exactly caused kits to not show?...also if I were u guys id put in a notification about the kits not showing just so people dont panic and think they are only to be bought with real money

It was a bug. And I didn't make an announcement immediately because I was still sleeping at the time. I start work at 05:30 UTC, and I usually start my day with some administrative tasks.

Paints are purely cosmetic, that's why they're being made shop-exclusives. Because it's a good way for Tanki Online to make money (which the game NEEDS in order to keep functioning) without affecting non-buyers negatively.

I think non-buyers are already affected negatively enough. Premium, Crystals purchase, Gold Supplie, 1500 drugs kit.

 

I don't care about paints, they can release new paints every weeks if they want, good for them if there are enough fools to spend 27 USD on a paint ^^

Only 1 alteration per turret is available for now. We'll be releasing more in the near future.

 

 

Devs are working on the downloadable client. The Flash issue wasn't our devs' fault. Unfortunately these things happen when you're depending on a third-party platform.

 

 

Actually, many other games do this. There are games where you actually pay a subscription fee to play, and STILL they have buyer-only content where you have to spend $60 just to get that special mount. Look around you and you're definitely gonna see examples of this.

 

 

The disappearance of kits is due to a bug. We're working on it and they're coming back, don't worry.

It doesn't matter what other games do, by that logic we're gonna have to pay a subscription fee and accept it because other games do it. The paints being moved to the shop isn't terrible I suppose if there's even the slightest chance a regular player could get it (winning a contest for example) but moving big supply kits away from the garage removes potential for a non-paying player to get good value for crystals.

Heh. Extending the rent time for alterations means nothing when you consider that THEY STILL COST REAL MONEY. And only for a short time. And only for a change in characteristics. *sigh* and it seems that new paints are here to distract us. Listen, we want you, my dear developers, to finish the alterations (and add them for hulls, since that's where they are useful) before you change something else. At least make alterations cost real money and renting it cost crystals, or just make it free altogether, since it is swapping characteristics and does not improve them. In short, I dislike these recent updates. Whereas the modules update feels well thought out and makes sense, this one feels rushed and confusing.

Also only stupid people wont notice this. With DCC you can buy tons of crystals with 70euros and kit guardian costs 67euros. Its like you can buy 2 kits if you buy crystals instead. You made kits in shop just to distract people. What is next? Removing DCC? Making 1 crystal worth billion euros?

Freezerno, which will look like Inferno, even the name.

 

 

And the last paint, Black and Blue, which will look like Lumberjack.

 

 

These brand new and exclusive paints will be available in the shop, for the tiny price of 39 USD per paint.

That was an obvious exaggeration, there's nothing wrong with buying a paint. I particularly like the Lime paint, it's flashy.
