Tanki, I am almost to Gizmo. The only kit left is the 1500 supplies. I cannot compete against gizmos now because they can afford to drug so much. I cannot. You take away the kits, why the heck would I keep playing?

OK, I think we'll need an explanation for the disappearance of the kits. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that it's just a mistake. It's not exactly in the developer's style to sneak in updates (especially possibly unpopular ones) without any kind of forewarning, which is why I find it unusual.

 

If this is intentional and here to stay, I wouldn't be happy about a more or less universally unpopular update being implemented without as much as a hint. Transparency and honesty is important- it gives people time to think about and discuss updates, and announcing something in advance garners more respect.

 

Again, here's to hoping this is just maintenance or a mistake.

Actually, its not the first time dev sneaking update. Its second as far as I concerned.

The first one is when the previous V-log didn't covered about drug kit update.

Yeah, its covered at forum, but for not covered in V-log... Its soo wrong. The V-log is big announcement media after all.

 

As expected, now the update isn't covered in forum. I still surprised. Surprised that I predicted it lol.

Do notice that the one who wrote that comment is not the same as the player who bought those golds and that expensive paint. It was just to show that some people spend a lot of real money on the game

The one that is responsible for passing on any news to us, was hopefully asleep during the time of the server update. You can't expect him to stay awake all night to make sure everything goes as planned. I'm sure he will be here to update us on the "kit fiasco" when his work day starts.

If you leave Tanki online, dont go on Tanki X. Sooner or later same updates  will waiting for you there ! Same game, same developers.

I dont like this approach of tanki managers, they paying increasing attention to buyers more and more. why all kits are available for buyers but not for non buyers? its a shame for tanki, why huge supplies now are available for just BUYERS????????????????

Paints are purely cosmetic, that's why they're being made shop-exclusives. Because it's a good way for Tanki Online to make money (which the game NEEDS in order to keep functioning) without affecting non-buyers negatively.

 

 For some reason, none of the alterations are doing anything when I click on them. There's no name, nothing but a gear icon.

Only 1 alteration per turret is available for now. We'll be releasing more in the near future.

 

THATS nice but how about concentrating on fixing the FLASH/tanki problem for MAC USERS first before you add new goodies.  :angry: Never mind me I am just upset for not being able to use tanki appropriately for 3 weeks now, loss of daily missions chains,  handicapped for racking up crystals for 50% off micro upgrades  . . .

Devs are working on the downloadable client. The Flash issue wasn't our devs' fault. Unfortunately these things happen when you're depending on a third-party platform.

 

This is absolutely pathetic, stop putting in game items in the shop.

Even if paints don't affect gameplay, just make them very expensive yet attainable for players who don't buy.

This is just bordering on ridiculous.

Actually, many other games do this. There are games where you actually pay a subscription fee to play, and STILL they have buyer-only content where you have to spend $60 just to get that special mount. Look around you and you're definitely gonna see examples of this.

The disappearance of kits is due to a bug. We're working on it and they're coming back, don't worry.
