Honestly my isida has gotten really good even against gens after muing it 10/50.... Like normally I would die pretty fast after running out of reload but now it MUCH MUCH better I recommend muing it.

I just checked the change tables... I really don't know why they tell a different story in the Vlog, than what we can read in the tables, especially in regards to isida.

 

- Nerf for Isida looking alone on the parameters + combine this with a 100k price push

- Vulcan costs more than before

- Wiking M3 and M4 is now faster than Hunter

- What I found interesting: Freeze got a massive boost

- The tank groupings in light-, mid- and heavy, doesn't make any sense at all. Imho this will strongly reduce the variety of hull usage, since the players will nearly only use the tank of each group with the best combo of speed and hp.

Brigadier = 606 000 exp

Generalissimo = 1 400 000 exp

Difference is approximately 800 000. Divide that difference by 2 and you get 400 000. Add up to the amount of exp a Brigadier has, or reduce it from the amount of exp a Generalissimo has and you end up exactly at 1 000 000 exp, which is the rank of Marshal.

When it comes to the number of ranks, or the amount of m3 equipment available at each rank, indeed, both General and Marshal are right in the middle. However, using experience points to find the middle sounds like the most logical choice.

Asked already several times, but still no official answer, please Cedric, answer the question: what will happen to the kits? There are M3 kits available as of Lieutenant Colonel. Will this now chance as well and will they only be available at Lieutenant General or so?

If you buy something that is 100 000 crystals now, and after the update it will be 150 000 crystals, it is an advantage to buy it now so you can get it cheaper.

 

Or if something is 200 000 now, and after the update it will be 150 000 crystals, it is an advantage to wait until after the update so you won't spend as much crystals.

Well, one way to look at this re-balancing is that there will probably be a hull/turret combo that's fun to play. So I thank Tanki for the advance notice. This lets me save the Cry I would have spent on a kit - only to have that particular combination re-engineered only a couple weeks after. So I want to say good job on the advance warning. Do not be afraid to give even further warning next time.

Many people have asked about the impact this will have on kits. These questions sparked a very very important question of my own. I hope we get an official answer to it.

 

Will ALL the kits be available for purchase during the post-change sale? That is, will the "rotation" be suspended so every account can buy the kit it needs at the sale price?

 

If the ridiculous "rotation" scheme is in effect then only the accounts lucky enough to have their rotation up will be able to buy their desired kit at the sale price. Other accounts will be screwed, through no fault of their own.

 

Worse, if the silly and customer-annoying "rotation" system continues after the re-balancing, then some unlucky accounts will have to wait the better part of a month to buy the kit they need to buy to react to this re-balancing. So some accounts can adjust quickly and be on their way. But for some reason a massive amount of accounts will have to put up with their unwanted tanks just because of bad luck.

 

That's just stupid marketing. Piss off tho-thirds of your customers over some weird arbitrary restriction - instead of making them happy and in a spending mood? Why?

 

I hope all kits, turrets, hulls, and protections will be on sale for at least a week after the re-balancing. Let's hope this concept is relayed to actual decision-makers behind Tanki. Thank you.

Everything that changes game balance is a rebalance. However, it is not nearly to the scale of THE rebalance which has a somewhat negative connotation. Also, don't compare two people you don't know. Part of BOTH OF THEIR JOBS is to give us the news of what is going on, Semyon told us about a fair share of updates people didn't like.
