I am not buffing. I am saying that I am not happy that Isida and Mammoth will weaken. I have seen many other players like me who use Isida and Mammoth for strong defence in battles.

I just simply want the developers to cancel this update. The previous balance update was perfect. There is no need for a re-balance. Weakening all turrets and hulls will make Tanki Online feel like M2s. M4 must be M4, not M2.

No, it wont. I am not a fan of this "balance", but you are exaggerating.

The kind of update that will be good for Tanki Online will be a turret and a hull that will have a certain amount of health and HP that is between the current turrets and hulls.

 

For hulls, the amount of health and HP needs to be between light and medium hulls and also between medium and heavy hulls.

 

I am not quite sure what the balancing would be for a new turret to be integrated with the current turrets that are currently available. But what I know for sure that introducing a new turret and a new hull will bring a new type of balance, plus, it will encourage more players to join and play Tanki Online.

 

I have witnessed that at the present time, many players are leaving Tanki Online because they do not like the upcoming re-balance update. I agree with them 100%, so if Tanki Online gets bad after this re-balance update proceeds, then I will leave as well.

 

I will no longer play Tanki Online if this update ruins the power of M4 turrets and M4 hulls.

 

My suggestion is that all players now on the forum complain and ask the developers to stop with the re-balance update.

 

Everything is currently perfectly balanced out for M0, M1, M2, M3 and M4. No need for change.

 

In my point of view, updates are supposed to bring new features like turrets and hulls, and also fix bugs and glitches.

 

All M4 turrets and hulls must be super strong. That is why we all micro-upgrade to M4.

Tankionline is a Free to Play with in-app purchases MMOG -Massive Multiplayer Online Game-

Note the word "MASSIVE", this means - Exceptionally Large player base

 

To build a massive player base, the game must provide value to the player. 

Game Value means - Enjoyment of the game

 

lets look at what gave this game value to the player when the player base was growing.

 

First there is the fundamental principle of the game - Diverse gameplay with 3 classes of turrets and 3 classes of hulls. You can only achieve diverse gameplay by playing with all these pieces of equipment to enjoy the game to the fullest. as players proceed through the game, all players should be able to contribute to that diversity.

 

The Diversity of gameplay should span the entire career of every player in the game, meaning players who choose to play as a Free to Play player must be able to have at least a few of these classes in order to have this game value and diversity.

 

I could go on for hrs about game balance, revenue structure, pay walls, and other aspects of game design, but I feel that is moving into the relhm of consulting.

 

Also I feel providing indepth detailed information regarding all of my thoughts and ideas will be twisted into even more destructive Pay to Win updates.

My suggestion is that you folks make a complain and create a table on this forum about the current statistics for each turret and hull, and explain how they are well balanced. Put as many good ideas as possible down here on this post.

 

At M4 level for both turrets and hulls everything must be super strong and overpowered (without breaking game balance).

There is no way you can ask for such buffs because your favourite combo needs to be the "strongest". That's not balance. I'm also not saying the current stuff has perfect balance. You should wait for the update to actually release, test out your Isida-Mammoth, think about the overall feeling of the gameplay, not just your combo - and then comment. 

Are you a pro at  using M3 and 4 Isada in battle through a variety of maps and battle types? You are talking to veteran players who can feel even the slightest balance in game dynamics and know all the attributes of each and every piece of equipment in his/her garage.

the problem isn't isida, it is a problem of lack of diversity in battle, isida packs can be shut down just like any other turret in the game if the players had the will to try, but that is not the case, as soon as these players lose one flag,orvget taken over with supplies, the battle is over. 

The only aspect that needed to be toned down was the healing speed of teammates.

if you find it too hot in your house, you don't turn the thermostat down from 78 to 32, you turn it down to 76 and continue reading your paper.

We all buy huge amount of crystals using very expensive expenses in real money, so all M4 turrets and hulls must remain super strong as they currently are.

 

Real money is very hard to earn and the same thing goes for crystals, so if we all spend so much of real money to buy so many crystals for micro upgrading our turrets and hulls right up to M4 modification, why do the developers make all turrets and hulls weaker?

 

Weaker turrets and hulls would feel like M2s.

 

Once again I shout out loud:

 

Please do NOT go ahead with this new re-balance update, because it shall ruin the strength and potential of (critical damage) for all turrets and hulls in Tanki Online.

I may be taken as biased, considering I am (or was) a heavy Isida user, but this update is the most garbage I've seen yet.

 

Why would you nerf a turret/hull that had nothing wrong with it in the first place? Railgun, isida, smoky, hornet, and ricochet were all, more or less, perfectly balanced before the update, and then we get these massive damage and range nerfs. And then hornet gets its most unique asset removed. And to top off this monstrosity of a cake, they heavily buff supplies.

 

TL;DR, you nerfed the stuff that was perfectly fine, then buffed items that needed nerfs.

It's not true that everything was perfectly balanced, but steps this drastic won't help anyone. 

 

I mean, 50% self-healing, 100% with DD for M4 Isida is quite OP, but 10% is nothing at all - Isida will be only a healing weapon, and they nerfed that too. Horrible update imo, please take a look at what actually needs to be nerfed, then nerf it, don't buff it.

Isida needs 100% self healing.

Yes,I totally agree. A turret that can make its hull literally invincible... Isida is already OP enough, and it completely needs/deserves this update. I just got out of a game on Noise, where the other team was absolutely destroying simply because they had 5 isidas out of their 8 members.

Riddler, are you a deliberate troll? Or are you, as I suspect, actually an employee of Tanki? You are making everyone who is actually unhappy with this upcoming update seem ridiculous by association with your ridiculously overdone and childish complaints. Please stop, or put some actual thought and reasoning into your posts. Please.

Man, you gotta understand that you're not the only one playing this game. There have been hundreds, if not thousands of complaints about Isida being too powerful, which is why developers are reducing its power. You keep asking them to increase the range, increase self-healing, make it stronger, make it more powerful, etc. But have you thought about how it will affect other players? It's already hard to fight an Isida, but if your suggestions were implemented, it would become completely impossible to win against it.

 

Sure, making Isida better might make YOU happy, as well as all other Isida lovers, but at the same time it will make the rest of the players (which is probably around 85% of the total) leave the game due to complete absence of balance.

 

All turrets must be equal in power. Isida is too strong and needs to be made weaker so that other players can compete. If you fail to understand this - try using another combination (like the Twins+Hornet combo you have) and see how hard it is to actually fight against Isidas. Only then might be able to understand how other players feel and why developers are making these changes.

He is mostly playing CP and DM battles at Polygon. Mammoth / Twins is a much better combo for Polygon.

 

I was playing Polygon battles with Thunder, but now I am playing them with Twins or Smoky, eventually Firebird.

Well, the only battles where I ever saw him were all Arena CP.

Yes. I do understand that there needs to be balance between turrets and hulls. Players using long range turrets like Vulcan and Shaft can easily fight an Isida.

 

Also a Freeze can sneak from behind and kill an Isida when it faces the opposite way. I have myself faced very strong Isidas that I still managed too kill using Freeze. Vulcan and Shaft can kill Isidas very easily when battling at long range or using double damage when firing.

 

There's more than one way to skin a cat!

 

There are many different skills that can be used to kill an Isida. Isidas are weak players on medium and large maps.
