Thank you for saying to me that players garage will not be reset. Thank god for that!!!

 

Will Shaft remain the strongest turret after the re-balance update?

 

How strong will my M4 Isida be against all other turrets and how fast will it heal other players in team battles?

 

That is not right and not fair that all turrets and hulls will be nerved.

 

I am not sure if players around the world will continue to play Tanki Online after the re-balance update. What will be the future of Tanki Online?

  • Yes, Shaft will remain the turret that deal the highest amount of damage per shot in the game after the game balance update.
  • Starting tommorow, your Isida M3+ will deal 620 points (/sec) without double damage. e.g. Hornet M3+ will have protection of 2000 points. So, you can destroy Hornet M3+ (without double armor) with your Isida M3+ in 3.22 seconds.
  • No one knows that. Let's hope they will.

Despite what so many other players are saying negatively, from my experience in battles today the balance update is not nearly that bad. Quite a few good changes (yes, good!) have happened. Freeze is no longer a trash turret at the M2 and M3 levels. It actually does a decent amount of damage now. Firebird can now actually compete with Twins at close range, so Twins doesn't have quite as much of a monopoly over the short-range turrets. On a negative note I think Isida has been nerfed too much (take my thoughts on this point with a grain of salt; I haven't even used Isida in a long time but I've fought plenty of others who have used it). The main problem with it before the update was it's self-healing feature was ridiculously OP when double damage was on. It acts like it has a repair kit on at all times when it is shooting when double damage is on. The other problem was that teams of Isidas were almost immortal, so it was impossible to win a battle against them, especially when they were drugging. Like some others have suggested before, I think the best remedy to this problem is to only nerf these features when drugs are on or when there are a bunch of Isidas on a team healing each other. This will give the other turret users a chance to actually make some progress.

True, but the freezing effect is not as buffed as much as "freeze players" wanted it to be. There will most likely be an alternation for freeze that will improve that aspect ( alternations were mostly a money driven update as well IMHO).

Hum !

So IMO ! Speed 40% and decrease price of Dictator-Hammer-Ricochet is GOOD !! Everything else is REALLY BAAD specially all M3 at Marshal !

By the way it's the WORST update ever  :angry: but I'm not surprised cause actuals TO updates are always BAD  :( 

So the first rebalance/refund was bad? Performance updates?  Graphical updates? Mouse controls? Facebook login? 

I may just not look at the update pages after this, cause it's really getting on my (and many others) nerves.

A portion of it is...the other ones are more of an opinion for it to be worse or better.

Yeah, but if he insists that all updates are bad then we should have a version of the game with no updates, and just send everyone who complains too much to it.

Did any one noticed that the update related to the hulls? Some of them, like Mammoth and Titan (I'm personally using Mammoth) have nearly no differences at all after the update, which  Mammoth used to have more HP. Same to other hulls, and the hulls are now losing their characteristics.

REALLY REALLY LIKE 4 second rail reload.  I can live with the power reduction.

 

Not so crazy about Isida sefl-healing going bye bye.

 

Still trying out my lesser-used hardware to see what's working and what's not.

plz calm down..... if isida was buffed, i bet u wont be complaining. You see, you had fun playing with isida right? IT'S BECAUSE ISIDA WAS TOO OP. THATS WHY IT SHOULD BE NERFED :D :D :D :D :D TRIGGERED :P

The goal of nerfing isida is to make it balanced, not worthless.

After the rebalance, I find Viking is more usable. Even though it took a slight dip in armor, there was no real significant change to that so it doesn't bother me. The top speed being increased as the trade off makes it better for capturing flags, since before the update, the Viking was more of a camper tank in my opinion. I also enjoy the fact that it now drifts/skids with the use of speed boost. I really enjoyed that in the Hornet but the hornet is far too weak for me, so having a medium hull be as fast as a light hull and drift is a huge plus for me. Although, I did notice one big drawback is the fact it's pushed easily. I mean a hornet bumped into my rear right side and caused me to turn to the left...yet it can't push other tanks. It'll put it simple:

 

Hornet can push Viking

 

Viking cannot push Hornet, at least not as well.

 

But then again, I'm not going and pushing people around so that's not really too bad for me, but in terms of catching golds and trying to push others out of the way, it gets annoying. So to compensate, I ignore all "Do not kill" messages in the chat and i will shoot any enemy within range. I'll go full drugs and buy a repair kit so when I get shot too much I can just repair myself. With speed boost I noticed helps VIking to push tanks better, so I use speed boost a lot. I'll use double damage to cap flags and double damage on occasion to take down groups of tanks.

 

Another thing I was really happy to see that ties along with Viking's speed is the jump on Monte Carlo. Before update the jump was only possible with the M3 on speed boost, now you only need M1 with speed boost, but i do recommend MUing it to 10/50 at minimum since sometimes you won't make the jump, but a great deal of the time you'll barely make it. It makes me glad to know I don't have to take the long trip around to take the flag anymore.

 

I also love the fact that it's the 3rd strongest hull in terms of HP at the M0 level, but at M1 compared to the dictator and Hunter, it's the weakest, but at M2 level it regains its notoriety as the strongest medium hull. at the M3 level and M4 level they all share the same HP, but Viking then holds the highest speed. You pay a little more for it than Hunter, but less than Dictator and you're paying for such a tank that isn't overly gigantic. Being as short as it is, it helps it to sneak around easily, but width makes it a little bit of a challenge to squeeze through tight spots.

 

All in all, it's a very versatile hull, great for both camping with Shaft and going out in the battlefield to wreck everybody in sight, but there is argument going on about why it sucks. BAsically from what I hear is that is took all of Hunter's characteristics pretty much. Viking drifts now and Hunter no longer does. I don't like Hunter so it's a plus for me!

 

It's good to know I can use one hull for every situation and get the job done effectively, thus saving me crystals! :D

I'm going to be neutral with this update. Smoky has been nerfed like hell and im a smoky user but I guess once in a while tanki should let the non smokies win eh?

Is this your game experience or do you think this because of the rebalance stats?

I agree with you here. Isida does need an extra 5 second pool for its healing gauge. Apart from that, everything else is perfectly balanced now.
