Hulls' "Abilities"

I'm pretty sure you're aware that hull alterations will not happen, or at least they are not planned. You are basically suggesting just that - options to select different stats for a hull by increasing one value and lowering another. And you mention "special characters" without explaining what they are, so I will assume that you mean special abilities, which is why I'm merging your idea here.

Pressing "R" or "V" could allow you to see the opponent's hull's Max HP (Not current HP, HP when spanwning) Speed, Weight, and Power values. And there could be a limit to how much you could change a hull's stats.

I find your idea really cool but I just want to touch upon something else similar. How about not increasing the hulls status, but by aiding the hull with some sort of companion? For example, let's say you were to have hornet on you can be backed up by some sort of helper. Like a flying drone or a robot dog, so they could maybe not necessarily damage tanks but maybe buy you some time to escape. Lol kind of funny if you think about it. Now I know some of you might find this idea to be a long shot but hopefully, this idea could somehow go to the administrative part of tanki and make it work somehow. Although it's just a thought

Hunter's Force field effect:-

 

As of V-logs, The hunter has the ability of disabling the supplies for a minute. What if it has a ability to switch modes between 2 options. 

 

Hull mode:-

 

Slow down the movement of each hull's speed, it gives chances of taking flag. Players would get a advantage. 

 

Turret mode:-

 

1 shot, only 1 shot, then reload disabled. After 10 seconds, The reload works. This won't affect the plasma turrets but they time taken to give a shot increases. 

 

Force field:-

 

When hunter uses this ability, It gives wave force look, and this time, Hunter can even change its Distance of Impact. For example, when Hunter uses the ability, Players near to him will get less time duration and player's beyond far can get full impact. 

This can be changed by kept in opposite manner too...

 

Player's Plus point:-

 

When their hull got its ability after Cool down, The player's can see a clock symbol on their top of the tanks stating Mode. This can be seen by pressing "V".

Wasp-little frontal machine gun (like in WW2 tanks)

Hornet-shields blocking 25% of the damage

Viking-slow auto regeneration (5% of the health every second)

Hunter-25% bonus speed

Dictator-immunity to recoil and knockback caused by enemy guns and tanks

Titan-50% damage boost

Mammoth-25% bonus speed and same little machine gun as Wasp

 

All these effects should work for 5 seconds and they will charge 2 minutes. They would not affect the gameplay significantly.

What is the point of having these abilities when they are pretty much the same thing as supplies, except much weaker? What is the point of waiting 2 minutes to have 25% speedboost for five seconds when I can enable N2O more often for 45 seconds?

You could combine the overdrive bonus with drug bonus to have EVEN more speed for 5 seconds (good for capturing flags) or more damage for 5 seconds (something like 7500 damage with Shaft).

It still seems pretty disappointing, as 5 seconds is practically nothing.

Best to wait for the overdrives to be released, test them, and only then make suggestions about them.

Bad idea, all of these just increase speed...................

As said in the first post, the current suggestions are not definitive and may be changed:

 

This is obviously a prototype of the overall idea. Abilities, if considered, may have completely different effects and such, I just posted some examples :)

What's actually getting implemented, is the unique hull overdrives. Those will give each hull a unique special ability that isn't necessarily related to armour or speed. For example, Wasp will be able to drop a bomb with a massive explosion radius, while Hornet will temporarily ignore protection modules and give himself and all teammates x-ray vision for enemy tanks.

Vlog overdrives are a bit... no sense.

Wasp: "Raid" -Speed increased, and disable freezing and knockback effects.

 

Hornet: "Tracking" -Allows you to see tanks through walls.

or

 

 

"Stinger" -One of the effects below, only one, effect are applied with each shot (this isnt a random effect, i just put many cuz a have variety of ideas).

Stinger effect

 

 

Just take one

 

A- "Disable" -Disables enemies turrets from being fired when you attack them.

   or

B- "Blind" -Blind your vision as this way. - Pic

   or

C- "Paralysis" -Disables you to move.

   or

D- "Toxin" -Removes your drugs.

   or

E- "Silence" -Disables your overdrive, removes your overdrives effects.

   or

F- "Venom" -It poisons you, it only heals if you use a Rapair kit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hunter: "Stealth" -Almost invisible, 75% visual transparency, full invisible if you dont move.

Viking: "Roar" -Attacks ignores protections and your own turret knowback, also removes turret self-damage.

Dictador: "Lead"  -Current overdrive (share supplies).

Titan: "Enforce" -Full pushing power.

Mammoth: "Barrier" -Full invulnerability, only can receive damage from Vikings with Roar.

Hornet with Tracking - Now Hornet can track Hunters.

-> Good againts Hunters and Wasps

OR

Hornet with Stinger - Can disable enemies to make Wasps "raids" better.

-> Good againts everyone

Wasps can attack in a more maneuverable way.

-> Good againts

Vikings can be the perfect attacking machine.

-> Good againts Mammoths

---

Dictadors can boost other overdrives.

-> Good againts everyone

---

Titans can now stop all enemies or can break any defensive tank barrier.

-> Good againts Mammoths and Wasps

---

Mammoths are now the true sentry

-> Good againts everyone except Vikings
