Hulls' "Abilities"

Tell me what do you think about these ideas pls :D

They're alright, but I don't see how they're an improvement over what developers already have planned.

I don't like their ideas, Wasp overdrv visual effect its too much OP, Hunter overdrv doesnt have sense about a hunter should be.

Titan's OD here is pointless. I would switch Wasp's and Hunter's OD for more sense.

Wasp and Dictator need strongest OD because Wasp is easy to flip and Dictator is too high.

Wasp will be able to break into enemy base and destroy it, or block off important routes, or kill a group of attackers with the N2. OP, not if enemy can escape, and they likely will be able to. If they can't, they die. Simple. Titans and Mammoths will be easy (but likely bad choice for) prey.

 

Hunter, well, 'hunts' the enemies and neutralizes their druggers. I suppose it is a hunter.

Titan's OD here is pointless. I would switch Wasp's and Hunter's OD for more sense.

 

'greed. Stealth is really only good on a light hull, same for recon.

So, Tanki has kept adding new turrets, and I believe that Tanki will keep adding more turrets, because there are so many potential ways to inflict damage.  However, in my opinion, it will be quite difficult to add new hulls to Tanki.  So, to add another dimension to the game, I propose on giving each hull a special supply that can only be used with that hull.

 

This supply should be a one-time purchase in the garage, just like turret alterations, however, it should be a one time purchase of perhaps 10,000 crystals.

 

Hull-specific supplies should either augment the abilities of a hull or shore up the weaknesses of a hull, but compromise other aspects of a tank so that the do not unbalance the game.  

 

For example, Wasp could have an ability called Hypersonic, which would drastically increase its speed at the cost of something else (decreasing health more seems harsh on wasp, perhaps make other supplies inaccessible for the duration of the supply).  

 

Hornet could have an Assault Mode, increasing damage and armor but decreasing speed.

 

Viking could have a Beserker mode, increasing both damage and speed, but causing the tank to receive more damage while the supply is activated.

 

Hunter could have a Sniper Mode, possibly increasing damage slightly, and increasing range, but also increasing reload time.

 

Dictator could have a Commander supply, increasing damage, speed, and armor slightly while disabling all other supplies.
 
Titan could have a Bulldozer supply, increasing speed, armor, and power but decreasing armor slightly.
 

Perhaps Mammoth could have a Fortress Mode, increasing armor but moving slower and inflicting less damage.

 

Yes, these ideas need balanced, and everything needs a percentage or a value!  Tell me if this is a good idea, and if you have suggestions, please post them!

we should not perhaps add skins depending on the hull? like in tanki x, there is the skin "Titan Frontier Zero" or mammoth "Steam"...

I do not know if it's a good idea, but we could also add spiders mines that we would buy in the garage for 20,000 crystals and we could upgrade as a protection module, M1, M2, M3 +?

Titans OD has nothing to do with stealth. Its a shield.

The devs dont want suggestions about things that already exist in TX. Plus, adding any sort of strain to the servers is a bad idea :P

Titans OD has nothing to do with stealth. Its a shield.

 

My bad, I was talking about Wasp and Hunter ODs. What I meant was, Wasp should have had the supply neutralize. Upon further thought though, that's best kept on Hunter.

THIS IDEA RUINED DICTATOR, HORNET, AND MAMMOTH!!!!!!

Are you bloody kidding me? Hornet is overused, this will hopefully balance it. I dont see any problem with dictator. Mammoth will become as viable as Titan again.

Why would you want hulls to have the same health as each other???!??!?!??!?!

 

This would mean Vikings, Wasps, and Titans will dominate the battles, as they are faster than their slower counterparts!!!!!!!!!

Leaving the other 4 hulls to collect dust in the garage...

I disapprove of this idea.

Why'd you have to give hunter such a bad ability? Half the turrets already have infinite range!!!!!!

 

Also, Dictator's ability should affect all teammates within its radius, wherever it goes for the duration of the supply. If the teammate leaves the radius, they lose the added bonus effects.

Wasp is easy to flip. It will never dominate the battles.

 

Difference between Viking and Hunter (or Mammoth and Titan) speed is too low to be a big advantage. Viking is better with close range turrets than Hunter due to higher speed but I think Hunter is better with long range guns due to higher weight.
