Tanki Online Client has random lag spikes

Whenever i play the client version of Tanki Online, my FPS suddenly drops to 5 FPS while my Ping remains at 190.

Is the lag being caused by my internet connection or something else?

Probably your internet connection or server's lag.

Considering your ping remains the same and only your FPS gets affected, I'd say it's caused by something else. It could either be that your pc just has a hard time handeling the game, another program is interfering (like anti virus, skype, youtube etc) or you just need to clear your caches.

As you said, your Fps Drops but your Lags dont, that is because of your computer unable to handle the game for example too old or some other software is slowing it down.

 

As Cooper said try to clear your cache, if it still doesnt work im pretty sure its your Computer.
