Ask for Invite (to private battles)

This is very usefull, especially if you're a clans leader and some of your mates pop online for the training too late.

 

 

Problem:

I see that a friend of mine is in a private battle; and I like to / need to (clan training..) play with him.

 

Solution:

 

1) In my friendlist I can see, that my friend is in a private battle (this idea)

2) I can click his name and chose the option [ask for invite] from the pop up menue

3) On his screen a little box (like for an invite) pops up in his top right corner, and with 1 click on this box he can invite me (or decline my request).

4) if he invies me, I get a normal invite-message on my screen, which I can follow

 

It's pretty easy, nothing complicated :)

 

 

Today's workaround is pretty nasty:

 

 

- spot my friend. He is not in a battle.. hmm.. maybe he is a private one, as he sits around at an odd server like RU12 as generalissimo.

- copy his name, send him a provate chat message to check if he is in a battle

- receive the answer that he is truely in a battle

- find some abitrary battle where he coouuld join, and that is full (best case)

- invite him to this full battle that suits his rank

- a invite popup to a full battle will be displayed at his screen.

- now HE has to open his friendlist, find my name, and send me an invite

It's universally accepted if you send them an invite to a full battle they get the idea and invite or decline.

Admins.. If he doesn't accept the invite, we guys get #Doomed. Even after doing that whole FREAKING procedure, what we get is.. A Face Palm.

Sure. But once apon a time it was also univerally accepted to walk all your ways by foot and cars were no necessarity.

This feature is a matter of convinience, just like many others ideas that already got implemented (double click on garage items was also derived from an idea here in the forum).

 

I experienced this "universal accepted" procedure as very uncomfortable, especially if you take the other perspective of the guy, who is in the private battle. He is right in battle, maybe a clans leader coordinating an attack.. and suddelny an invite comes along. He now has to find a spot where can sit for 20..30sec, open friendlist (sometimes it looooooads if the servers are overcrowded) and find your name (somewhere at the bottom of all active ones as you are in no battle at the moment) and then invite you; close friendlist and continue to battle.

 

With my proposal it is just one click. Makes the live of tankers easier.

According to the feedback many tankers like it :)

hmm.. maybe. Actually I am just a notorious optimiser by nature ;)

 

But lets take another perspective:

Do you know that you have played this game for at least 300 hours by now? An there are others, that have played far more.

A little more comfort is usefull investment, there where you spend your time, don't you agree? :)

So I would like a way to request  to enter the battle, if the player accepts you can join the battle, if they refuse you can't join.  So how would you like this idea?

I dont know that is it topic merged or not ,but this would be useful when u want to get in private map, where is your friend but u dont have link for it.

Asking for invitation will be useful, when you accidentaly lost invite, when friend invites you.

This isnt my idea, but i think its good and useful!
