Clans :

The Clans in Tanki Online are the players who take part in special battles that we, mere mortals, can not take part. You will need to have sufficient experience in the game, have a high degree of skill and a range of items that are required by the Clan you are trying to join. The bar is set high as each clan only wants only the best players on their team. Here is what you need to know before applying to join a clan: there are rank limitations to join clans, though you need to have a garage with a range of strong equipment and plenty of experience. Clans are split into tiers, meaning that it is possible to find a clan, and join one with suitably ranked members for you. You should also read the clan Rules.

How do you find a Clan?:

Finding a clan is not as difficult as some might think. All you need to do is choose tier you are best suited for, then scroll through the list of all the clans and find one that you think is the right one. Choose tier 2 and newcomers if you are still quite inexperienced, but if you have played Tanki for a long time then you can try joining a tier 1 clan. Find out how they can help your game and improve your skills and how they can affect your game. Clan hopping is a big "no-no", it does not go down well with clan leaders, or indeed other clan team members. Choose one clan, and devote yourself to it! Be sure you meet the requirements of the clan and also that they are taking applications.

  Applying to join a clan

Look for the form or the method of applying to join the clan (this is normally posted in the clan topic's main post). When applying, give as much relevant information about yourself as possible. There are several ways to apply, however, the best way to find out how to apply for a clan is by reading their page, as all the information you need should be there. Then it is a case of following the steps laid out for you by the clan. Always follow correct application procedure when applying for a clan. Make sure you write something more than 'Can I join your clan?'. The chances are high that you will not get a reply. Provide information about yourself, how long you've been playing Tanki, and a little about your garage and your rank. It is useful to tell them your time zone. Once you are happy with the content of your application, send it and wait for the reply!

Once you have been accepted into a clan, you should be guided by the clan Leader on how to communicate with the rest of the clan members. Throw yourself in and introduce yourself but try not to be 'over-the-top' or make out that you are something special. You are a clan member now and you will be able to talk as much as you want to the other clan members, meet new people, make new friends, and find new role-models to look up to. If you were not so lucky and your application was declined or you did not get a reply from the Clan Leader, try not to be too disappointed! In cases where you did not get a reply, it is worth asking the clan leader why not. The reply may give you guidance on how to make a further approach at a later date. If you get rejected outright, do not lose hope as there are more clans to choose from.

Creating your own clan

The minimum rank to create a clan is First Lieutenant. The minimum rank to join a clan and actively take part in official activities is Warrant Officer 3. Only the leader of the clan is allowed to make the clan topic. Any new clan must have at least 10 members. This number includes the clan leader but does not include any multiple accounts. At least 9 members, not including the clan leader must confirm their membership within 24 hours after the clan topic is created. The thread subject for the clan must follow a specific layout. There is a longer list of rules regarding clans but you do not need that information until you are at a level where you can begin to even think about being a clan leader.
