Why non-buyers hate buyers?

Some players say that buyers are stupid, wasting money on virtual currency/items.

 

However, you must take into account that Tanki Online is a free game. A Console game is roughly 35$ or more depending on the gaming device.

You're still technically buying virtual items by buying a Console game, so why not spend that 35$ that you would have spent on it on Tanki instead?

The answer, for me, is that a console game you are buying for 35$, is almost certainly going to be a lot more entertaining, than what 35$ can buy you in Tanki Online. You are able to play an entire new game, but you could have played Tanki anyway. And 35$ may make you OP for a while, but it will quickly die away as you rank up. The console game is months, maybe even a year, of fun. 35$ in Tanki is probably a few weeks, before it runs out.

 

Need for Speed is a game which I have been playing on my PS3 for at least a year, if I am not mistaken. After all of that, I would still find it enjoyable to play, being in pursuit, racing, and other things. I got a PS4 and some other games a while ago.

 

Basically, you can get a lot more from 35$ in a console game, than you can, buying in Tanki Online.

You don't "use" pickups, you pick them up. Hence the "pickup".

1. Those who make fun of F2P players just because they don't buy
2. Most of the good updates are dedicated to buyers

Some free to play players envy buyers due to the fact that buyers are able to work themselves up a bit faster, e.g premium user.

 

Most of the non buyers are just simply jealous of the buyers, while players that dislike buyers because they can make the game unbalanced still do exist.

 

I have invested some money into this game, but as far as disliking buyers go, I dislike them if they buy to show off or raise their own ego, I really don't think it's appropriate, but it's life, not everyone is going to get along and agree with each other in these kinds of situations

I wouldn't say most non-buyers hate buyers - it's just that many people consider them too OP. Buying should give you an advantage (that's the point) but a very skilled free player should not be able to be dominated by buyers who only have an average amount of skill. They're able to MU equipment a lot more, and if you spend enough money on the game you can have M3s at WO4 - too OP, imo. 

 

Also, due to a recent update, buyers of all ranks are able to get the 1500 drug kit, making them have a lot more drugs (which do make a tanker more powerful) than free players. More than they should, I reckon.

 

And yes, buyers do tend to drug more. (I don't drug, and what I've used has been during golds or at crucial moments in the game, and besides whether or not I drug does not change the validity of I say). 

 

Some players who buy will mock free players for not buying, and people don't like that. Although I think people actually like buyers or at least will beg them for gold boxes. 

 

Buyers aren't all unskilled nobb drugerrs, though, like some people will call them, they're just players who've spent money on a game, making them more powerful.

There are plenty of times one side is over-matched, and if I am on the winning side where it is most likely the outcome is not in doubt, there is absolutely no reason to drug. I see a lot of players excessively drug to the last second. If I am on the losing side, sure, I will drug, but only to stop momentum for the winning side, not to exact out revenge. But if you are on the losing side of a lopsided battle - stay the next couple of rounds because the winning side usually win-quits, just like that guy in online chess where he beats you once and doesn't give you a rematch.

Buyers are usually nice. I guess if you are willing to spend money on a game you most likely enjoy it and thus have some kind of respect towards others who share the same enjoyment. However there are some arrogant ones i don't like. And i'm certainly not a fan of getting raided.

In this topic please say everything you feel against buyers and give us (Buyers) reasons why you hate them and dont want to play with them if they are on your team or enemy team.

This topic is only about gameplay not their own real lifes.

 

 

Before saying that you hate us cuz we drug, make sure you have used 0 suplies.

 

 

If this post will get good replys with reasons and such even after rebalance, maybe devs can look here and see the main problems about buyers and try to solve them keeping both sides happy-Non-buyers and buyers.

Ive gotte called "buyer noob" quite a few timss by people who can't compete with my semi-strong M2s and mainly fron what i can tell. Its just because we can access better equipment then they can most of the time. We drug more which results in us winning more which makes them mad ( ok i can understand the few times i have found really good battles where they are all using M0 Hornets and Wasp which i love 1 shotting. ) but seriously. If there was no buyers there would be no game. And Non buyers need to understand that

Whilst non buyers rely on buyers, buyers rely on non buyers too. Just imagine all the non buyers left. There would basically be no cannon fodder for buyers, and no cannon fodder means there will be a lot less excitement in the game for buyers who will probably conclude it's best not to spend money anymore.

I think it is less a case of people hating buyer.  More that they hate what that brings to the game.

A buyer has a huge advantage in game no doubt.  This is often perceived that they have bought their way up the rankings rather than earnt it (and in very many cases this is true).

Yes buyers keep the game alive for the F2P players but the balance is off in the gameplay.

I think the problem now is reaching critical level with the supplies now being added to the shop.  This gives buyers an even bigger advantage and will only serve to increase the animosity against them.
