Why non-buyers hate buyers?

I've changed my opinion of buyers and it no longer bothers me. In fact, today I received a barrage of abuse for drugging and was accused of being a buyer (I've never even bought crystals). So now I know how it feels on the other side.

 

In the past buyers were a real problem as they could be healed by an OP isida and basically become invinsible. Since that turret has been nerfed I no longer see anyone on a 100+ kill streak in polygon.

Can still happen - isida's healing was not nerfed as much as it's self-healing was.

 

Last evening 1 hr Polygon CP - Isida healing a Viking Freeze - Freeze got ~ 350 kills.

Yes repair kit wouldnt save but i have 36% from freeze and wasp m2, thunder m3 28/50 so i think i would be able to get away from m0 freeze and strike from distance. Ofc its different if they get m3 or m4 wasp so they can catch up...

I'm pretty sure it cant. I have seen it myself first hand. In fact if you like do a test for pro battle and see whether or not m0 freezer is effective. I'm just going by my experience. Each time a drugger came down the person who got the credit kill was 80% of the time the one who had the m0 freezer.

Because there also exist Mult Buyers just like .. That_girly_noobito joined a battle at Noise CTF with his Stinger kit and some Bought paint, and he(she) just chatted about what he(she) will buy on Cyber-Monday. From winning fun and intenssive battle from 2-1 for us it came up to 2-10. They even didn't need supplies.

I don't hate buyers, I hate heavy druggers because they ruin the balance of the battle. And balance is one of the most important thing for me to have fun. I don't enjoy fighting an enemy team much weaker than ours and I also don't enjoy being destroyed by druggers over and over without any chance to fight back. Luckily the Pro Pass solves my problem. No Druggers = More Fun.

Hmmmm... All I do is press 3 and hit the left arrow key until my tank spins until it is lined up with the enemy. Then I keep hitting the space bar and if I do it right one of us will blow up. Hopefully the other guy.

I'm simply suggesting a good idea. Many people hate buyers, druggers, upgraders, etc. So many turn to the PRO pass. You may not understand the settings of the PRO pass, but it allows you to disable upgrades, boxes, supplies, allows XP/BP battles (which get super popular for higher ranks). People with the PRO tend to hate supplies. But for lower ranks such as yours getting the pass may be harder. Not only do you have to buy M1s but also paints, modules. And now you need to save up for a pass that allows you to get away from players who don't ''always'' play fair. So this pass should be cheaper depending on your rank. It would really help the Tanki community.

I don't hate buyers sinc eI get nearly as good equipment as they do without buying.

 

I got M2 Hammer 24/50 with the High Capacity Drum alteration for roughly 160,000 crystals :3

 

It's called smart saving/spending and how to make crystals in the first place, then wait until the next major sales to get what you want! :D

This. However, buyers and druggers aren't the same thing.

 

On a side note, the only true anti-drugger guns are freeze, twins, and Shaft.

What about Hammer (especially on DD)? I often kill people with it while they activated an RK  :D

The problem with buyers isn't the fact that they drug. That I can actually deal with. The problem is that they buy OP kits and then microupgrade them to be EVEN MORE OP. People buy kits like Annihilator, Pitbull, Voltage, Tornado, or Stinger, and then MU them to 50/50. I once saw someone with 50/50 M2 Railgun/Hornet IN A STANDARD BATTLE. People don't respect the power of their equipment as is shown by people using M3 XP equipment in a battle that can admit WO2s at the lowest.

Then there's the high amount of the Dunning Kreuger effect being displayed among buyers. I'm not saying all buyers are crappy players who couldn't find their ass if it was handed to them on a silver platter, but a high portion are. However, those buyers feel that they're sooooo superior to most that they don't realize that they actually suck at Tanki. Have you ever seen a buyer using M3s that can't even turn his turret? I have, numerous times. It's truly pathetic and sad when that buyer ends up getting his ass beat to crap and then he blames it on lag, how his team was crap, how the person who whooped his ass is a hacker/cheater and all these pathetic excuses for him being crap at Tanki :p

I don't buy, but I can go head to head with a buyer and beat them, only because I don't play much and I get plenty of drugs from missions, and I saved them up, I'm only low on repair kits tho.

 

 

And some buyers actually hate me :ph34r:
