I understood Hazels idea in a differnt way.

 

 

For me there is no point in adding more fancy names and more singular ranks to this game that would exceed 2..3 Mio XP.

By reaching 3Mio the equipment is tough enough to compete with a large amount of players already.

 

What he proposed was not about "adding some ranks", but to give a continue reward for going onwards, together proposed in a way that let you calculate back whom you oppose as an enemy on the battlefield.

 

Therefore I really like the way to stick to one name (but a more awesome one) and count numbers after it.

 

 

If you stop thinking about [you, as a player and your rank], but start thinging about the whole system (including other players, seeing whom they play against, ranks as limits for battles, further achievements, ongoing crystal rewards) then a system with a single rank + numbers is the most usefull one; as it can solve the most usecases by the least complexity.

Will you change the possible rank-settings during the battle cration as well?

 

 

It will help the game a lot, if

- the Players above L3 (2 Mio XP, own a lot of M4s) can play among themselfes

- without having some "pure M3 Gismos" that are weak members in a full M4 team of highly experienced players..
- if they dont want to

Anyway. While this suggestion is obviously a joke, I really wanted to point out one interesting example. There is another suggestion I made around here. This one:
