Disable supplies by default for normal battles

I'd love this for several reasons:

 

1. It wouldn't be about who has the most HP, Drugs, or an Overdrive ready

2. It would make pickups like powerups, so controlling drop zones would be of much greater value.

3. It would make Tanki genuinely fun again. 

 

Oh, and this is coming from a hardcore drugger btw.  ;)

You are right. In PRO battles, you can easily kill everyone and everyone can easily kill you (if there is no annoying Isida or Magnum). That is the reason why I like PRO battles.

Which causes the fund to increase much higher than in normal battles, so you end up getting a lot more crystals per hour and you don't even use supplies. It's very bad for the economy, which is why the idea is declined. Unfortunately Tanki depends quite a lot on supply sales in order to stay alive.

What about simply giving less fund per the same amount of kills in non-drug battles? This is what I mean...

 

Drug battle - 4000 total score - 4000 battle fund

 

Non-drug battle - 6000 total score - 3000 battle fund

 

Players in non-drug battles would have more xp but less crystals, it would ruin their xp/cry ratio...

 

I play PRO battles for fun, not for xp and crystals. I want to rank up slowly and get crystals from missions and mission chains.

 

By the way, non-drug battles do not have much higher funds because tanks without SB are slow and they need some time to get to the battlefield xD

Makes sense, but I still feel like devs just aren't going to do no-supply battles in MM under any circumstances. To be honest, the majority of players won't go for the no-supply mode when they find out that it's boring (because no supplies) AND it gives less crystals.

Why do you think that drugs make the battles more interesting???

I explained this numerous times. No-supply battles are fun when you have a good team. An actual good team, that's coordinated, skilled and preferably has voice communication, playing against another team of similar skill. If that's the case, then no-supply battles really do make the game a lot more interesting, because you can't just rely on power and brute force to capture flags.

 

But a standard battle with random players is a havoc, where everyone plays for themselves and does whatever they want. The level of coordination is far lower, so you're mostly on your own. If you didn't have supplies to help yourself, it would be impossible to play the objective, because a single tank without supplies or good team support is pretty useless.
