In this topic you can find a list of the most common problems and solutions posted in this section. I've created this topic so that people won't repeatedly post the same problem over and over again, rather they should check this topic first, see if their problem is located in the list below, and only if it is isn't, or the solution we've given doesn't work, may they post a topic.

P: My turret doesn't do damage, how can I fix it?

 

S: A common bug which can easily be fixed. You can either fix it by self destructing and if that doesn't work, refresh your page.

 

Note: If after self destructing you still do not take damage and you cannot refresh without loosing your score because you are using the game client, simply exist the game client and continue the game with either an internet browser or Standalone Flash Player. If you decide to use a browser go to the server your battle was on (tankionline.com/battle-en.html#/server=SERVER) and log into your account. If you decide to use Standalone Flash Player, find all the server links here, open the server you on Standalone Flash Player and log into your account.

P: The TO client keeps putting me on random servers, how come?

 

S: The TO client doesn't send you to a server with players at your rank (like the server switcher does), it sends you to a not-so crowded server optimize your game performance. If you dislike this feature you can always use the server switched in the top right corner to move to a different server.

P: I cannot start a topic on the forum, how come?

 

S: You may not be able to start a topic in certain sections due to your rank, read more about that here. Alternatively, you may have a ban/block on the account you're trying to create a new topic with. Alternatively you may be experiencing something called the 'beginner bug'. The beginner bug is when the forum glitches and you have no rank for a short amount of time, and not having a rank automatically makes you a beginner.

P: I have a problem loading my login screen / battles / garage etc.

 

S: Read I can't enter the game / the game doesn't load.

P: A server is missing (in the server switcher), where'd it go?

 

S: A server my disappear from the server switch for a certain amount of time when that server is undergoing maintenance. There's nothing to worry about and the server should be back up and running in a short while.

P: I want to use a certain nickname which isn't taken (I check my trying to friend the name and said it doesn't exist), but I still cannot use it.

 

S: Nicknames are unavailable for multiple reasons, those reasons include:

 - The nickname doesn't contain enough characters (min. 3);

 - The nickname is registered in another community (e.g. Brazilian or Chinese);

 - The account the nickname belongs to is blocked;

 - The account hasn't been inactive long enough or the player logs in regularly without playing;

 - It's a glitch.

P: The chat timer is far to high, how do I chat now?

 

S: I'd say just reload, but the more correct answer is in the spoiler below.

 

 

1. Check your system date/time if its correct.
2. Open web-browser.
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Del.
4. This window will open:
   
5. Set the options as done in the picture above and clear the cookies.
6. Restart your browser.
7. Open Tanki Online and check if the problem is fixed.
8. If the problem still remains, repeat all the steps in safe mode

Just one thing, there is an easier way to fix that chat timer bug. All you have to do is type '/' in the chat bar and press enter. Problem solved :D
