[Declined] Recording option for battles?

Recommended Posts

Sometimes you have an epic moment you just wish you could have caught on video, but had no way of doing it. Saddening right? Well, what if they added a button (not a number or letter key) with a red dot next to the missions button so you can record your battle and save it to your drive? Like last night I was on Sandbox CTF on my backup account NoobTanker18 with my Titan M1 and Shaft M1. Terrible set up for that map right? Well, getting twelve kills straight without dying from spawn with such a setup in a few mere minutes is something worth seeing again, right?

Or maybe you're playing on Madness and you drive off one of the above roads and kill an enemy as you and he/she fall? Maybe you barely make a flag capture on the last second of a tied match with low health? Say you're doing parkour with your Titan M1 like I do? ALL things you should be able to see again and show to your friends, right?

This is why I think Tanki should add in an option to record your battles without having to download silly software to do so. I have Wevideo but i need to spend money if i want to record what's on my screen...really? :/

Not sure if it'd be free or not, but if not, maybe 250 crystals per 15 minutes, so 250 for 15 minute battles, 500 for 30 minute battles and 1,000 for 60 minute battles. Seems fair and cheap enough.

What do you guys think?

Suggested before. It would be a useful feature, but unfortunately it would have terrible effect on the server load. To allow everyone (or a lot of people) to be able to record gameplay at the same time, the servers would need to get a massive upgrade, which would result in huge costs. More importantly, there is no point adding a feature, which can be substituted by separate downloadable software (i.e. any screen recorder). So developers would rather focus their efforts on adding functions, which can't otherwise be done with third party programs.
