I think that if, just for a week, the test server could be open but with the old version of Tanki. By the old version, I mean the one before the rebalance. Before the graphics update, before the crystals x10 update (update 123?), with all the old maps (moon silence, silence 1&2, deck-9, etc. Personally, as a veteran of Tanki (I have nearly 5 years under my belt), I think it would be a lovely trip down memory lane for other old players, and it would give some of the newer players a chance to see what the game used to be like.

 

Of course it is probably only worth doing if it is feasible (i.e. if all the old graphics files have been deleted or something, then its probably not worth the effort.)

This is physically impossible. Developers don't have a "backup" version of the game where they take out the CD with the "new tanki" and put in a CD with "old tanki".  The game changed so much that reverting it to an old version will require months of work and will basically be like making a new game from scratch. It's not worth the effort.

Mafioso... Im sorry to say this to you but... YOU FAILED!

 

I made video during midnight after i saw this topic so its.. its a trash not a video+ laggy (Game itslf doesnt lag but screenrecorder recorded on few FPS).If you watch this video on 2x speed, its not that bad...

This video is just to show yout that you failed and yeah. Old tanki needs to get more popular  cuz noone knows about it.

Personally I like the current physics more but if we could have the old map textures (mind you, only the textures not the way drops etc. worked) and old maps with new game modes, I'd love it. I've tried out every map in this game but I must say that there isn't much variety in textures.
