not really a problem. just want an answer.....

Usually, a newspaper moderator (particularly speaking, someone who is in the ForumNewspaperModeratorsEN group) will not have an avatar because that person isn't a full reporter yet, and is going through the so-called candidacy stage.

Alternatively, that person could have left the newspaper and not logged onto the forum from before they were removed from the ForumNewspaperModeratorsEN group, hence the group they're in hasn't been updated. Don't get it exactly? Let me explain: see, something like an avatar can be removed and added without the user having to log on, but with something such as a group the user actually has to log onto the forum for the group to update.

Let's use former reporter, @Contradiction as an example. He hasn't been a part of the newspaper staff for over 3 and a half months now, thus his avatar was removed quite a while ago, but because he hasn't logged onto the forum from before his group was changed it hasn't updated. The same goes for @Phoenix-Warbird, like you mentioned.

One more possible reason is, the user could have left the reporter staff, and logged on since, but due to no one exactly caring to remove them from the ForumNewspaperModeratorEN group, they're still in it.

Finally, as you said, this isn't a problem so next time, as in the Questions & Answers topic.
