Hello Guys! Here we will talk about the DR format. This is my first article so please don't judge me for this xD. For those who don't know what does DR mean, its dictator and railgun :P

Now this would be a very epic format. I used to play tanki since when the format was real popular arount 2007-2008. My old account was unfortunately hacked (lets not talk about it here). So the V-LOG tells us that in this format, Dictator's hitpoints would be reduced to 2 shots by equipping the tanks with a special module. Now you would ask what fun is it to play with the same hitpoints as XP/BP but less speed ? The answer is "Whoa, Calm Down Bro. A slow game has its own fun and its own gameplay". So this epic format is already in the game. I already started playing it. Make sure you play it as well! Feel free to post your opinions in this new format in the comments below. See you guys next time!

Sounds like fun, although I really doubt that it will catch on. Just like BP format, DR is probably gonna be in great minority compared to XP and XP/BP, with maybe 1 or 2 DR battles for every 50 XP.
Of course RU1 will be full of it on the day of the release, but that will be only the initial craze. Developers would need to do some serious promotions to popularise such an old format. Maybe something like giving everyone a free trial on the first day, even if players don't have a PRO pass, dictator and railgun.

As you guys can see, in Russian, Dictator Starts with A and as always railgun starts with P so just like XP/BP this format shall be called AP.

That letter is "Д", which is the Cyrillic "D". And indeed, Dictator in pronounced pretty much the same in Russian.
Д is not an A, so don't confuse the two :D

Yea :p right

This probably won't be as popular as XP/BP but it'll be fun I'm sure. Sadly I don't have Dico M2 :( The free trials would be pro tho, hope that happens

You can find some explanation about that here and here.

In Russian some letters may look identical to the Latin (i.e. English) alphabet, but they mean a completely different letter. So "X" is for "Хорнет", which means "Hornet" and is pronounced exactly the same because it's not even a Russian word for "Hornet" - just a literal transcription of the English word using Russian letters. Same goes for the B in BP - it stands for "Васп", which means "Wasp" and is pronounced the same, even though the actual Russian word for "wasp" is "Oса" (osa, which is ironically the name of an existing tanki map). The P stands for "Рельса" (relsa), which means Railgun.

So in fact, even though literally every English player pronounces "XP/BP" as "ekspee-beepee" (heck, even I do!), all Russians pronounce the format name as "HR/VR".

By that logic the new format will be pronounced as DR in Russian and there is no reason for it to be called "AP".

Just learnt that word now

DP is not gonna be very popular, but many will try out the format, specially people who haven't tried it before.

That will include me :D XD

Hoping to see this in game!!

Well I dont like the idea!

Sorry to be a hater but whats good in slow motion fighting?

Hornet and wasp dies in 2 hits and if so does dictator whats the use of such format? I mean just a slower hull ~~~ pros will get bored from it soon.

Why do they make every thing like railgun+something ~~ wasp/hornet+smoky or wasp/hornet+thunder would have been epic ! and much more balanced.

Here comes important question!

I was thinking to rename EN version of formats to HR/WR so I can add DR. But you kinda got used to XP/BP so I am not sure. Any suggestions? I really do not want to call it AP or ДР. It will mess things too much >_

I think this idea will be great, I've been playing this game for 6 years, and I remember the old days of Dictator/Railgun, I'm so happy that it's back, <3 <3

XP/BP is set in my mind. HR/VR isn't that good IMO. Call it AP. Not that bad. If you make it DR and leave them as XP/BP that would raise a lot of questions regarding why half things in Russian and half in English and on the contrary nobody wants XP/BP to change to HR/VR. The only choice here is AP.

OR

Conduct a survey.
