Limited Turrets per Game

I have an idea that could or could not work, it's about limiting how much of a turret could join a game.  I was once in a game with about 5 or 6 Isidas and was almost impossible to kill anyone.  For example a game could be 2 Isidas can join this game (2 blue and 2 red).  It may seem a little unfair to some people because they might not be able to use the turret they want.  It seems like it might make the game a little bit more fair though because in capture the flag when both flags are taken there won't be 5 Isidas guarding the flag guy so it's impossible to get the flag.

The main problem with this is that battles will take ages to fill up. It will take a long time to assemble a random team where players want to use those exact turrets for the whole game. So with the amount of players Tanki currently has this is a bit too ambitious. Besides, as pointed out in the topic linked above, this will remove variety from battles if the equipment setups will be the same every time.

 

Having a lot of the same turret types shouldn't be a problem. 5 Isidas at the flag? Pfff, just grab Firebird and a 50% Isida module and roast them up!

It would work sometimes but it would also prove annoying for Fire Wasp and M1 XP/BP. All the turrets being Isida is a problem though its very rare. The upcoming rebalance should also counter this problem.

NightSphinx57, i like ur idea, but as the moderator said, it will really be difficult to find players who will constantly play on these types of modes.

Please understand. But your idea isn't that bad though. Continue bringing more ideas :)

Or grab the module as well as thunder and use some drugs like double damage, and knock out 7-8 isida in two go's, maybe even one, if they are weak enough ;)

Y..Y...You say this to WO5? He can try to get 35% from isidas and with firebird m1 he cant even make scratch on those isidas if they are m2 (Stringer kit).

Before you make post what someone should do, check hes rank. He is just WO5.

With firebird you can act like lighter and try to burn tanks with it. m2/m3 firebird becomes stronger.

But those isidas are going to have drugs and be almost unstoppable

I personally don't like this idea. It wouldn't be fair. Plus multers can just change to your fav gun and stay sitting doing nothing while you wanna change but can't. Luckily I know how annoying isida can be and the balance update will make isida weaker ​and also ruin the game.

Special non pro battles

 

So here is my idea, there should be non pro battles accepting only 1-2 combos, like a bridges battle with fire/freeze with hornet/wasp something else
I'm unaware of topics which already has post this idea and if it is then I'm sorry

I do agree on the point that Maf clearly stated. 5 Isidas can be roasted with Firebird, so that not a problem. Just wear a 50% protection module from Isida and fry them with Firebird. Then, steal the flag and quickly run away. Take an Isida friend with you to heal you on the way and back. Make sure to also have a Magnum friend to lob a shell on the flag base where the 5 Isidas rely.

You can only have 3 protections so... unless they always equip Shaft - they are very vulnerable.  Shaft does all it's damage instantly, so healing won't help vs one-shot-kills
