New balance changes and other features

What I miss with better balance is that this annoying countdown when uneven teams only activate frequently could be better balanced....You still need to even teams better. Often are servers full...but no-one is really playing...and you are stuck with enemy of superiority! 1 vs 10 etc and NO balance (red-countdown) is activated.

Hunter <-> Viking Swap option

This would help both - Tanki could make some earnings and the players would feel treated more fair.
Alternative could show that they care for their customers, while they earn some money at the same time ;)


I think of something like this:

 

  • Free trial for the other hull:
    Every player that owns a Hunter gets a free trial for a Viking with same M-class (M2, M3, ...) and same MU level.
    On the other hand Viking players are offered a free trial for Hunters that are the same modification as their owned gear.
    Alternative could make use of the free-trial + personal discount that you have implemented already - with some tweaks of course.
  • Trials are given (started) within in a time period of 7 days
    ..so everyone gets a chance to get one, even if this players is not online for 4 days or just weekends
  • Once received, the free trial lasts for 3 days
    so everyone can make a decent picture of what he likes or not, in respect to the new weapons changes.
  • After the trial..
    the players are offered to purchase the tried hull for 15% of it's base-price (price of hull without microupgrades). Payable in crystals - or for 1 EUR/USD in cash (So the company can make some benefit through offering this)
    If the player decides to swap and purchases the other hull, their old hull gets removed from the garage. As stated above their new hull has same MU-level as before (so if I owned a Viking M3+14/50, then I will receive a Hunter M3+14/50; for 15% of a Hunters price payable in crystals)

I agree.  games may start out pretty even. But half-way through it's 10 vs 4. Guess who gets all the dropped supplies...

 

And that Timer takes F-O-R-E-V-R.  Devs - please fix this. A team is getting slaughtered for 2-3 minutes before the Timer kicks in.

At that point, time to go on pause (to collect a few measly crystals) and grab a drink. No one like to be a punching bag to pad other teams wallet/stats.

Equipment isn't getting nerfed to make it weaker, it's nerfed to make it more balanced and equal to all others.

pls tell me than wat they do with isida

 

a lot of people have it m4 now it get nerved  (way to hard)

so its gonna so bad and evryone need new m4

I agree. The tanks look huge compared to the environment. Is it the perspective? Does that need to be changed? They look cartoonish.

 

And yes, the game-play feels a lot more sluggish. Maybe it's because we are using lower tier items, but I find the tank moves oddly.

I have an account with m0 5/50 Viking and Smoky. I played that back to back with a TX Viking/Smoky also at 5 upgrade steps. It's not just the low-end equipment. The TO gear drove intuitively, the TO turret does not keep spinning a half-second after you stop. TX for whatever rason has slow moving tanks that spin like tops and turrets that have a spongy response. Meanwhile yo are driving a  tank the size of a small hill.

Isida was OP. And it was OP precisely because of the self-healing. Dozens of players complained about it and developers took that into account, making appropriate changes. The update isn't out yet so please don't jump to conclusions about how Isida will perform after the balance changes.

its not the self-healing that they brought down....  its the healing  damage  selfhealing (nothing improves :() 

hope devs see fast and change it fast bcs its just worthless

 

the isida now m3   is better than the isida m4 after the update...

R.I.P. Mines  :(

Mines will actually be a bit deadlier, since some hulls are getting their armor reduced. A mine with DD will kill any hull that is not using DA and any light hull that is ... all the way up to m4. (Based on a 2000pt damage mine)

The game is over. The new changes in game balance will be rolled out with tomorrow’s (20th October) server restart at 02:00 UTC which will not make the game better,but we only want money. You can find the full details for these changes, including changes in parameters and prices in the special wiki page called Global update of game balance for Tanki Online.

Re-balance Update - 20th October 2016

 

I want to know if my M4 Isida and M4 Mammoth will have enough strength.

 

Will my M4 Isida be capable of killing enemies quickly and healing team mates in team battles quickly?

 

Will my M4 Mammoth be strong enough to survive strong attacks in big battles?

 

Just a short while ago, when I was in a battle, players mentioned to each other that M4 Freeze shall be overpowered. Is that true? That is a good thing that, M4 Freeze becomes stronger, but it is not fair for other weapons to lose their M4 modification superpowers.

 

We all spend huge amounts of crystals just to have our garage completely filled with M4 turrets and M4 hulls. This re-balance update that will destroy all the potential power of all M4 modification for all turrets and hulls.

 

Please make note carefully of the re-balance update that is due on the 20th October 2016.

 

If all of you folks playing Tanki Online who are logged on to the forum carefully listened to me (RIDDLER_8) and complained about this re-balance update, perhaps the developers would change their minds and could of rolled back this update.

 

For example, if everyone in the world stopped playing Tanki Online for some time, then that would definitely force the developers to cancel and roll back this re-balance update.

 

I need your help to force the developers to cancel this re-balance update.

You will be faster but with less health

Re-balance Update - Good and Bad New Features

 

There are some good new features that will become available when the re-balance update takes place in Tanki Online.

 

Self Destruct

 

The self-destruct time will be reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds so you don’t have to wait too long to get back into battle. This is a very good update because players can re-spawn quicker in battles.

 

Equipment change in battle

 

The minimum waiting time between equipment changes in battles will be increased from 1 minute to 5 minutes. That is very bad because it would take players to long before they can change their equipment. Please will now need to stick to using equipment that they don't like to use for 5 minutes rather than 1 minute.

 

Show Damage

 

When in battle, players will be able to see the amount of damage they are dealing to enemies. This will be displayed as a small number on top of the enemy’s tank, and will represent how many HP of damage your shot has inflicted. This is an extremely good feature that should have been created since Tanki Online was first developed in 2009.

 

To make damage simpler to display, all HP and damage will be multiplied by 10. The effect of Repair Kit and Mines has also been multiplied by 10 to reflect these changes.

 

This feature can be toggled on and off in the setup page.

 

Players like me (RIDDLER_8) who are using Isida to heal other players in battles, how will they see the amount of HP health points gained by repairing other team mates tanks in team battles?

 

Game Mode: Dictator + Railgun

 

With this release, player will be able to take part in the Dictator and Railgun format. Players will be able to create these special format battles from the battle creation screen.

 

For this format, the M3 Railgun will be automatically equipped with a special Alteration that increases its damage and slows down its reload.

 

Additionally, M2 Dictators will be automatically equipped with a special defense module to make them competitive.

 

I have never played in the Dictator and Railgun battles before, but it is a good battle mode that will encourage more and more players to play Tanki Online. I hope that players will earn more crystals for playing in this battle format.

 

New Paints

 

The release will also include 5 new paints. Two of these new paints will be purchasable from the garage, while the remaining three will be shop-exclusives.

 

So, make sure you log into Tanki Online tomorrow on the 20th October 2016 and check out all the changes for yourself for the first time, and remember that you can find the full details for these changes in the special wiki page called Global update of game balance for Tanki Online.

 

This is a good update release, but we have enough paints as current. My suggestion for some new paints would be single-colour paints like Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Black and White. We all need a Yellow, Purple, Brown and Pink paint, costing only 10 crystals each.

 

All of these suggestions above are my positive and negative opinions on the re-balance update on the 20th October 2016. The green and red text that I used in this post represents what is good and what is bad. Now it is your turn to give out your own opinions on those mini-updates that are coming with the big re-balance update.

I cannot explain how excited I am for this update. The biggest thing here is the nerf to isida's self-healing; it will no longer completely dominate on small maps. Also happy to see the other small chances, especially the wait time to self-destruct being cut in half. Dictator rail should be fun as well- I am glad that I purchased dictator m2 last Halloween so I can try it out.

it figured you and the dev's did not listen to anything we the players complained about in the past chat section why add these things when all you're doing is creating another  tanki x .. why don't you just merge them both together and tell players this what the company's plans are

TO has a problem releasing too much information too soon.  They also have the tendency to introduce new items only to later marginalize them.

Stupid greedy losers you are nertfing M4 hammer HARD (which should have had power increase as it's actually a low entry point M3 turret)  and increasing already OP firebird and freeze and twins.  And you completely refuse to admit just how hard you are screwing hammer users. it's my main turret on my main account (and isida is secondary turret on main account haha and my tank bodies are hornet and viking double ha ha ha at the amount you are screwing me over - basically you have destroyed the tank setup I worked for over the last few years on here)

 

Enjoy your empty maps and you 10-15 remaining fool users who pony up to pay for new gear every single time you nerf the old gear. And enjoy the massive drugfest you are setting off by making drugs even cheaper for the pay to win losers to just sit there drugging all day and ruining the game even more for whatever remains of the large user base that you used to have who did actually support your business regularly until they realised you think anyone who isn't constantly buying drugs should just be cannon fodder for pay to win losers.

 

And good luck with your lame overcooked tanki-x which you are destroying tanki in aid of... After how many years is STILL NOT READY FOR REAL RELEASE. tanki-zzzzz more like. Even if it worked, I would never even try that game after your performance with this one.
