Actually is not so bad update ( except isida ). Today I play 2 hours with Rail, Hammer , Thunder Smoki, Rico, and isnt so bad, maybe we need time to get used on this changes. It could have been worse. I really like show damage update, one of the better update in Tanki last two years.

Okay, so this morning I woke up and started playing TO, only to discover a disaster... 

 

A few months ago 'oneshots' made their appearance to this game. Everyone was shocked and there was uncertainty about the future of TO. After a while, people adapted and, how hard it may have been, learned to live with it. All that time we had that glimpse of hope that there would soon come an update to fix this grave mistake. We begged, cried and screamed for help. What did Tanki? They ignored us. Denied.

 

Now a few days ago the rumors of a rebalance came to us. It was magical. Could it be? really? (I will keep it short. Spend too much time on this already) NO! Turns out it could not. Tanki, you ruined it. Now the 'threeshots' occur even more often than the 'oneshots' did. And don't even get me started on this ridiculous new DR mode.

SHAME ON YOU, TANKI!

 

You know, this all made me think of a part from a movie. I took the time to look it up for you, Tanki. Just out of a battle. My trusty, stable Viking handles now like a flimsy Hornet. Wasps turn upside down way too easy, I flipped several in just one battle. This is not any kind of rebalance, this is just bad judgement. The hulls have been made unstable before and it did not take long for the devs to admit mistake and make the hulls more stable again. But why repeat the same mistake again? On the positive side, there are now plenty of new mistakes too, so this is mostly not just repetition.

Wasp+Fire format will never be added as it doesn't take any skill to use that equipment. It's borderline power-levelling and simply a grindy game mode with the sole purpose of earning experience and crystals as fast as possible.

 

Tanki X has already been released and I don't see many players leaving TO to play there. Are you sure this will be a problem?

Besides, I highly doubt that developers would be spending so much time on new update for this game if they plan to shut the project down in favour of Tanki X.

 

Believe it or not, but some players in TO can actually assess the update as a whole and make the judgement taking into account all of the different factors, instead of just complaining because their favourite OP turret got nerfed.

 

That's because these 1-2 types have been popular player formats for a long time. They encourage the development of eSports and help new players practice "professional" battles without having to be in a clan or club of some sort to organise special format battles privately.

 

It's entirely possible that in the future there will be an option to create any type of format, with any selection of turrets and hulls. The idea is already being considered by developers.

 

The reason is because many turrets and hulls were unbalanced, as in they were stronger than others. Ideally, all equipment should be equal in power, so the fact that certain items unlocked at different ranks and had different prices made it unfair for players, who chose to upgrade the weaker equipment items.

 

Isida was too powerful and now it should be more balanced. If it turns out to be too weak, it may get buffed again in the future.

 

Sorry, but this update definitely won't be cancelled. I suggest you try playing a bit more and see if your initial opinion is still correct. Yes, Isida has become a lot weaker, but that was a necessary change in order to make it more fair for players with other turrets.

why not keep everything balanced then rebalance everything so tanki could take more money from us.

No one. They simply misjudged it. Game balance is extremely difficult to do, so there is no way to guess how things will work out after the update. The question is - why did they have to wait over a year before they finally nerfed the OP Isida?

I have a good feeling that most tankers would quit the game due to the balance and would come back for it once it's back to the original way. The only good update is the new DR Format and damage calc but other than that, hatred will come, players find it absolutely useless judging by all the comments.

Are you kidding?? The idea of 3 shot (if intended) was worse than Hitler's idea of attacking Russia! The reload on rail? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE??? Have all you devs become suicidal? Don't you understand that you'll get money s'long as people appreciate the game? You think you've studied player patterns and come up with something that will be welcomed with open arms? Are you high-fiving each other and clapping yourself on the back? Yes? Well let me enlighten you, you've done nothing to deserve it.... Tanki is good where it is in terms of balance... Why do you bother with these hopless updates which no one likes? Get a move on those turrets you announced ages back will you? Work on the alterations! I expect you to consider withdrawing this update or replacing it with a new one... At the very least, I would like you to take this up in the v-logs and tell us what you plan to do about it so I may make my decision whether or not to leave.

If they wanted to do that, they would leave the game without updates and let players get bored and leave by themselves. Adding gold box supplies, new formats, new turrets (planned), new features like clans and DM tournaments is the exact opposite of "leaving the game to die".

For all the Pro's and Con's, irrespective of your views one big bonus. battles are exciting  again (for me). It feels new and uncharted territory, you are again learning who is powerful and doing while it in battle. You don't way up what the other player has or has not got. you basically got to get into it and do it. I am really cheesed off about my Isida, I rarely battled each day. Tonight I have battled a lot and enjoyed all, win or loose.

 

At end of day, thats why I'm here, not for easy kills or simple wins, this is a game and I'm here for fun and enjoyment so Boo Hoo for nerfing my isida but Yippee for letting me get some intense and enjoyable battles.

 

As a side note don't like the heads up with the protection icons ( I'd prefer not to know) but love the damage counter.

 

I don't really care if you disagree or think I'm a noob, I'm here for me. So guys and dolls pull your neck in and enjoy the game

I am really dissapointed that there is no kits for Field Marshals. But Why is that?

What will happen those players who are Field Marshal rank and they have been collecting for Kits but now there is no kits For them?
