After a couple of hours playing i don't hate the turret balance but the hull one is poor.

Just not sure why they felt the need to make only 3 different HP categories.

I really dislike the way both hornet and viking handle now also.

 

Still i guess no-one will listen to us but feels good to vent lol.

For your kind info, I've never spent even 1$ on this game.

It's their game they can do whatever they want to. They are not forced to answer to anyone who plays this game. Or is it a mistake to make a game free to play? Just make the game buy to play like Overwatch and it will keep away the toxic community members like you more like it will keep away the beggars. No one is forcing you to play. You came here by your will and you can leave too. No Force.

yes, the handling is much more poor now.

for Viking and Hunter.. I have to admit that I dont like the one, nor the other now. viking drifts too much (take a Nitro and skid away...) while Hunter does not stop rotating after you release the left- or right-key on the keyboard.

Viking feels like a pancake-hornet, while Hunter is nice, but exists each shart turn with a bonus-turn of 45..90 degrees.

 

Wasp does not move from a left-turn into a right turn fast enough, so I can not go through narrow set of obstacles (walls, houses, tanks) fast. I have to remove my finger from the accellerator all the time, as this hull is simply to sluggish now

 

 

Actually.. I do not understand, why the fun of driving was taken out of the game.

It felt so nice in the past..

 

If it's just because to less heavy hulls where used -> well let players use their light hulls if they love them.

They love the game for the fun; and for fairness (balance of power), not for the amount of heavies they see (balance by numbers of tanks).

Now that you mention this - it reminds me of Tanki-X. I found a huge difference in the way the hulls performed from one game to the next.

They seem more similar now - not a good thing.

I'm afraid Tanki had no choice. I am an XP player too. And reducing railguns power wasn't really that bad. The reason for this is, everyone just runs and hides. Ok even I do it. Every single rail player does or has done it in the past. And by doing that you immediately give yourself an advantage and make yourself ''OP''. There was no stopping it.

Wrong, this will promote even more camping. shots reload faster and you do more dps. more skills were involved in making use of your shots and planning out strategies instead of letting fast reloads and speed take over. I have played XP for a long time, why does tanki all of a sudden have to change something that most tanker's in Tanki Online like. There is no logical sense in changing something that works and players do not complain about

Freeze players like me can now enjoy a much better freezing experience in all battle modes including tough CTF battles.

 

Please stop complaining about Freeze. It's just 100% perfect now after the re-balance update, so what is all that stupid fuss and razzamatazz from those players whoa are complaining.

 

You folks who are complaining needs to understand that Freeze was too weak before the re-balance update.

​wow another game killing update.you have killed turrents and hulls takeing away what some of us have already payed for by mu.s with hard earned crystals shame shame on you. you would have done better to fix they lag .whats next more crap.

5 minutes to change?

 

This makes it impossible for me to win at 1v1 on island if I enter it 1st. My opponent would just inspect me, equip a paint with good protection against my weapon and then beat the heck out of me. If I switch weapon then he can switch again and beat me again for 5 more minutes.

 

Did the Tanki leaders even think through all scenarios before implementing this?

You can do the same thing in response. It is no different from today except the timeframe is different.  Think things through.  ;)

I feel this update is really bad now for xp. All it is now is about speed & no tactics, 4.30 second reload is way too fast to play XP with skill. This not the first time they decreased railgun's reload but twice. Tanki leave remove the update for XP/BP, I don't care about non-format, I care about XP.  

Ik the feeling, bro. We (XP players) have managed to evade all the crappy updates because XP/BP remained unaffected. After the module update, BP's cry a lot thanks to one shots. Now the turning speed is slower (I think) and this is really annoying because XP players learn to memorise what kind of angle they need to hit a 360 and I know some experienced XP players who are struggling with this new update. Now, often, XP is 3 shots! This is crazy annoying, the reload is too fast as well. The only cool thing about DR was the really fast reload (which was lit btw) and the super auto-aim. Now, they made the reload the same as the one in XP (4.30 secs) and it's way too slow and boring.

What I think about this update so far (5 stars means good and 0 means bad ^^)

  • The minimum waiting time between equipment changes in battle has been increased from 1 minute to 5 minutes.

Unlike what the majority of players may think about it, I absolutely love this update. Before, there was no strategy to adopt about changing equipment. And it was a joke, with players changing every two minutes because they can't handle my Rico or Smoky. It was a pain, especially in small maps (3vs3 or 4vs4). Now, you have to think about what you will do, really think about it, because it can lead to 5 bad minutes for you. There is way more strategy and I like it. "Should I change, or should I wait and let them change first?". So yeah, big thumbs up for this one.

  • The self-destruct time has been reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds so you don’t have to wait too long to get back into battle.

Nothing more to say about that. It's cool.

  • Show damage

That's cool too. Gives you an idea about how many HP you took to your enemy.

  • New paints

I have not checked the new paints in the shop, since I don't care. But the 2 paints in the garage are actually very nice. I bought Red Urban. And I will probbly buy Grasslands on the next paint sales.

  • 50% additional battle funds

That's is super cool ^^ Same for the 30% discount.

  • Changes in Turrets, Hulls and respective Micro-Upgrades and Alterations

Both good and bad so far. For Titan, it feels a little bit faster. And a big improvement in maneuverability. Less HP, but I don't really feel it.

 

Ricochet, I don't really feel the changes in damage. But the reloading is a little bit longer. But it's still very good.

 

Dictator, a little bit faster, I feel more power too. But the tanks takes a little bit longer to turn. Also, the maneuverability feels "less good" than before. But as for Ricochet, still good.

 

Smoky. I don't recognize my Smoky anymore. Ridiculously low critical, even tho the regular damages are up. Deservers a higher chance for critical chances. It feels weak in standard battles, so a DP is strongly needed. But surprisingly, Smoky feels more OP in Pro Battle without MU, that's a weird feeling. Btw, a Titan-Smoky can't beat a Titan-Twins in close combat in a pro battle MU off. So, more than before, we need to be very sneaky with Smoky.

 

Isida. No need for a big speech. The self ealing is a big joke.

 

Railgun. This is the worst update with Isida. Same for Smoky, I don't recognize this gun. 4 seconds reload. And it's weird, but it feels both OP and UP lol. I played in Farm CTF with MU and no supplies, I had M4 Titan and Prodigi, but it took him like 7 or 8 shots to kill me... It was easier to deal with an Railgun opponent before. But in normal battles, Railgun is very UP. I will also try it in XP, but it must be funny, sadly...

 

Freeze. Way way way too much OP. Lot of damages, reload faster and the freezing effect an absolute joke. Enemies can't even move, so they can't hurt me. And when is top freezing them, they need so much time to get rid of the freezing effect. Also, reload seems a lot faster.

 

For the other hulls and turrets, I haven't tried them yet. I will try Thunder, since I have it M4. And see what it looks like.

  • Changes in Supplies

I don't see the point of this update. Why reduce the time supplies last from 45 to 40 seconds? Why increase the cooldown between 2 mines? Mines is probably the less used of the 5 supplies.
 
Anyway, the whole thing about supplies lately is pretty useless. And it started with making the 1500 drugs kit available only for buyers. And nothing for "normal" players like us, a.k.a 80% or more of the players. Not a single kit for us, only this 100 drugs kit. Why not doing a "middle ground" with a 750 drugs kit available for 60K? Makes me feel like devs only want more and more money.
This is really the big sour point of the last years.

 

So, if I had to rate this update, I would give it 6/10. Mostly for the equipment change and the self destruct. Showing the damage is also pretty good. As for balance of turrets and hulls, some are now very UP while others are too OP. But I guess this has to change. Smoky was OP for a long time for example.

^^ agree. with marc. Fast reload in DR was awesome and made the game incredibly fast paced (for a fat piece of lard like dictator).

Here is what I think:

Freeze is OP.

Twins is OP.

Every hull is screwed up completely.

Thunder is good.

Isida is total crap.

Fire is OK.

Railgun shoots too fast.

Shaft? Nobody uses shaft. Can't say.

Hammer...haven't seen one.

Vulcan is OP.

Ricochet is OP.

Smoky m1 is OP, smoky m2...haven't seen one.

 

Heavy hulls are too light and fast and weak, Dictator is dead, Viking is weak and fast and light. Complete crap. Hunter reigns supreme. Light hulls are too strong.

 

A speed boost makes my Mammoth feel like a Dictator. Weird.

 

Please refund our garages, or at least make the Halloween sale a doozy.

 

Hate this update. Fix the hulls.

STOP WHINING THAT FREEZE IS OP PLEASE!!!!

 

Unless you are playing with m3's, you have no right to comment on the freezing effect at all.  So be quiet.

 

For those who do play with m3 turrets and hulls, the freeze was the most underpowered turret before.  This update makes the freeze effect take hold faster in exchange for less charge, and a little more damage.  However, now the freeze effect becomes a part of the strategy of the turret.  Before, there was no point in circling, as people would hit you anyway.  There was no advantage of freeze at all.  The only time in which the freezing effect came into play was for slowing down flag takers, and that was a team effort.  Freeze was, with it's long charge and little freeze, just a crowd-control gun that did a decent amount of damage.  The whole strategy was taken from it.  Now, you have to utilize the effect.

 

THE WHOLE POINT OF THE FREEZE EFFECT IS SO THAT YOU CAN"T HIT IT WHILE IT IS CLOSE TO YOU!!! Get that into your craniums.  Because it's annoying that you can't hit it while it's circling you, that is the whole point of the effect.  What's the point if the opponent can hit you while you're circling him.  The freeze effect HAS TO BE STRONG enough to ensure that you don't take much damage.  This is not overpowered, this is just the unique feature of this turret.  It's not overpowered if you can't land a shot on it while it's beside you firing, it's part of freeze's gameplay.  There are tons of ways to kill freeze users, staying out of their range being one of them.  Of course, it will be  really powerful on smaller maps, but that's like saying shaft is way too OP because of how they perform in stadium. 

 

Many people say freeze is now OP because you can't hit them at all.  THAT IS THE POINT.  If you are finding freeze OP then you are just a noob who doesn't know how to beat them.  Also, people are not used to freeze being this competitive, and the difficulty of adjusting leads you to think they were overpowered.  It's time for freeze users to stop being cannon fodder for firebirds and twins.

 

AND THE M3 TURRETS TURN FAST ENOUGH.  Freeze has turned into a hit-and-run weapon, rather than a charge-into-that-group-of-enemies-with-the-spacebar-pressed turret.  That's firebird.  And the charge time means that the damage per a full charge is almost 200 hp less. That's a big nerf right there.

I saved up 17,900 crystals to get my M1 shaft which did 147 damage and MU'd it to get it to 162.5 damage. after rebalance it does 1336 damage. Seems like a big increase but it's a huge decrease. They multiplied everything by 10 pretty much so 1336 is less than 1625, meaning I saved up to basically buy my M0 all over again but at a high price which is PATHETIC!

 

Railgun took quick a big dip in damage as well, and Railgun is the most popular gun in the game! 44.4 would now be 444 but now it's at 270 ish which is 27 before the rebalance, meaning it's as strong as thunder M0 but with twice as long as a reload. So they threw Rail a big middle finger since it's weaker than the extremely weak thunder M0 which now does 315 so thunder M0 got a slight increase, so might as well change to thunder now!

 

The Devs did BAD with the rebalance and now the game is out of whack! I'm not even going to play it again until I see this be fixed. Everything was just fine!, but yeah Thunder and Smoky were UP, but with a 1/5 critical chance means it's OP now against the other turrets which are all now UP.

 

Sad right? Smoky is out powering Rail now e.e

 

They need to FIX this NOW. They messed up. BAD.
