When vLogs talk about Balance, they talk about Balance of Diversity. That's more or less "simmilar usage times (ingame hours) for all gear"

 

 

"Balance of Diversity" is a BAD target

 

Are the players favours truely split into 14% Wasp addicts, 14% Hornet Racers, 14% Hunter fans, 14% Viking drifters, 14% Dictator dictators, 14% Titan Crushers and 14% Mammuth Lovers? No. In order to reach that bad target, you have to make them use stuff, they don't want to use (< read again, and remember it is a game!).

 

Therefore Balance of Diversity is enforced by tricks.

  1. disbalancing the "Balance of Power"
    Make less popular turrets OP, and popular ones UP. This disturbs gameplay, tactics and leads to frustration - for the sake to boost useage times. After a while they've overboosted and the next rebalance is due, the next frustration will come.
  2. cut the FUN
    Make Hornets slower and Wasps less agile.. yeah. Who actually thinks that cutting fun in a game is a good idea, may raise his hand.. and let it down on the "logout" button. And remember: I spend my money there, where I have my fun.

 

 

 

"Balance of Power" + "Diversity by maps",

reached by an economy change, is way better

 

This brings fun and diversity and balance of power:

Different maps require different tanks and turrets. Players can find their favourite role on each map and use suitable equipment they love for their unique characteristics. Balanced power keeps the fun up. A win-win-win situation.

 

 

 

On Kungur some heavies can defend, while lights can flank and mediums can cap. If maxed protection modules don't do lifetime_x2 but only lifetime_x1,5 (remember, your enemies have them too), then lights hulls would stand a chance in high ranks too. This would make the game more diverse, the gameplay in different maps (large, med, small) should be made more interresting.. then it will be great for the players.

 

Actually we have a lot of great maps. Why are felt 25% playing in polygon CP?

Answer: game economy makes that necessary

 

First idea: meassure the battle fund in intense polyCP Games, meassure it in intense Kungur CTF games. And then align the fund growth per map to let them have a simmilar proffitability. I'm sure better things can done here.. I just wanted to give a single idea to start from.

If the game would balance out crystal incomes through the maps, then the map diversity would be better, then the players would see more different gear and tactics in their teams and in the enemies team, and the fun would increase.

So true. Map diversity is key.  Tanki needs some way of inciting players to play and create battles in maps like Station, Novel, etc.  Those are so fun maps but sadly many Tankers do not get many chances of having fun on them.  Map diversity leads to hull and turret diversity as well.

You can find a vLog (if you have time to search for) where they talk a lot about balance changes; and there they define Balance like when all turrets and hulls are all used the same through out the game.

Now that M4 Isida has become weaker, I am very worried and concerned that it will become obsolete due to the lack of players using it. Isida used to be so widely used before the re-balance update.

 

The number of Vulcan players has gone up dramatically, meaning that for every battle that players enter, they shall see at least 1 or 2 Vulcans in the same battle.

 

The numbers of Twins players have also risen by a huge amount too.

 

I have also noticed that more players use medium hulls instead of light and heavy hulls too. So what will be the bleak future for Isida and Mammoth players.

 

Even if Isida players bought M3 Alterations for Isida, that shall not make Isida as strong as it used to be because M4 Isida is now so underpowered. The range of M4 Isida's beam will not be longer ranged even if players were to buy M3 Alterations for it. That would not help.

 

When it comes to healing players with M4 Isida, the turret gets even weaker and totally useless. I have witnessed myself and other players that playing using M4 Isida can be killed so easily. M4 Isida is so easy to beat up and slaughter in battle.

 

Also the self healing of M4 Isida is very underpowered and so it is useless for players who wants to survive attacks in battles. The Isida turret used to be a medical repair kit and hero on the battlefield helping players that were greatly struggling, especially players using light hulls.

 

Now that Isida has become so weak, it is useless in battle and they cannot heal or attack enemy players. The Isida players have become so rare, (rarest turret in Tanki Online), so the developers must react quickly and make M4 Isida just as powerful as it used to be otherwise if there's not enough players using Isida or buying it, it will disappear forever.

 

Another great problem with Isida is that it has become more expensive to buy and also more expensive to micro-upgrade. For players like me who have (in the past) micro upgraded Isida to M4 level, there is no problem in price for those players, but for new, low ranked players who wants to have Isida to kill and heal other players, they shall not even bother buying or micro upgrade their Isida because of its high expense in price and weak (underpowered) abilities.

 

My suggestion is that now there should be another re-balance update only for bringing Isida back to its previous (overpowered) strength level.

 

When playing in team battles, TDM, CTF and CP, Isida is the most important turret in those battles because it can heal and help a losing team catch up and win.

 

Please make M4 Isida just as strong as it was before.

 

We need this hero back in Tanki Online.

Are you trolling? :D Even though you admit isida was OP before, you still think it should get it's old parameters back? 

 

But I agree that Isida is too weak now. Self-heal needs to be bumped to 25% and range needs to be increased.

RIDDLER you should consider using some other turret. You already have Twins M3, buy...e.g. Vulcan M3 or Smoky M3.

Completly agree for Isida and all the rest you posted.  ;)

I hope Iside will be rebalanced and other features too, to have differences between tanks, like before!

Just a moment ago, I was playing with M4 Isida in a large team battle with another four M4 Isida players on my team. My team has lost due to the so weak M4 Isida players, including me. Even when there are large teams with M4 Isidas healing each other in team battles they are useless because they can get killed by any other turret, except Isida so easily. M4 Isida players can no longer stay alive in large team battle with three or four M4 Isida players because M4 Isida was nerfed. Even when using double damage, M4 Isida is useless at killing and healing team mates in team battles.

 

Please make M4 Isida as strong as it used to be before.

Dude, can you stop? Repeating yourself over and over again will do nothing but annoy the developers AND your fellow forumers. The only thing they're gonna do when they see this trash is nerf it even more so that you'll be even more annoyed...

But when everyone drugs - I drug MORE. 

To me, that's pretty pointless. There is always someone who is willing to spend more drugs. This blends the economical side out, which shows that it is often not very profitable to drug in this scale for small funds. 

It sometimes reminds me of Ebay when in an auction 2 people are bidding higher and higher until they pay a higher price than they would have payed by buying the article in an instant purchase. If there are people that are far above the level that I am willing to drug then I simply leave the game.

At the moment Wasp has bad accelertion and bad cornering.

 

Please increase the wasps turning acceleration, so it becomes more agile.

To have the hornet still able to compete, pls increase hornets speed - it may be as fast as wasp.

 

Wasp is then an agile cornering machine, while hornet is great at acceleration.

Members of this community don't understand that devs are deaf and therefore moaning loudly is useless. The only way to have devs listen to you is to stop spending money.

After Updates Railgun m2 in XP/BP battles is almost useless. You have to shot anyone 3 times to get a kill, but M3 Railguns can still kill anyone with just 2 shots. Thats not fair for smaller ranks.

 

Before the updates it was ok, every railgun (M2 or M3) was almost the same, but now it is impossible.

 

Please increase M2 Railgun's power like it was before updates.

The cooldonw for mines is now 40 seconds. I think it deserves a little boost in damage, no? Because the supplie is kinda nerfed now, no?
