Severely don't like. (Sorry) I use shaft all the time with wasp, using wasp leads to lots of tipping over and i loved the shaft because you could flip back over. Now every time i flip i have to self destruct, which decreases my kills and score. Also, I don't understand how "Shaft had a great impact force which makes it not usable with light hulls like Wasp"-moderator. Is there any way to possibly change this? (as in adding just enough to make flipping back up right a possibility, even if you have to use sniper to flip back up)

I think the devs have a different way of evaluating their performance or updates from what matters to us. We may think a certain update is a piece of crap because it destroyed the game, but they may see it a strike of genius for some weird reason.

 

It is obvious that our opinion has very low weight. Maybe the silent majority loves this deteriorated game.

Was it here that Cooper ran the baseline Firebird/Isida/Freeze evaluation after the rebalance?

 

Anyway, I found out that the Freeze killed the Friebird first because the Firebird ran out of ammo.

 

I think the experiment should have been run this way.

 

You line up Freeze/Firebird/Isida each against a tank (say light hull) and you fire at the same time, and see how they performed.

 

You repeat the experiment against three tanks of medium hulls, and then against heavy hulls.

 

That way, you see how each turret compares against a light, medium, and heavy hull.

 

There should be a disclaimer that in a real battle, there are circling techniques, or sneaking up, hit-and-run, etc.

I like the update, the only thing that could be worked at is to make m1 equipment available at wo1 and m2 equipment at major, other than that, it's perfect. :)

Its NOT perfect - It brought to the game a brand new glitch: The 'Ghost Bullet' which is not fixed yet, after 3 weeks.

smoky has way too many advantages over other guns, and not a single disadvantage, I think its time for one, or maybe two.

 

first of all, it needs a delay time (1-1.5 second delay) before each shot.

 

it also needs  1 more second added to its reload time.

 

 

ricochet is OP at m2 stage because of how early ppl can get it, it should be place at least 1 rank further like on captain.

 

 

before the update, Vulcan had insane impact force, now it has crazy damage. I would say increase the impact force by half of what it used to be and decrease the damage by half of what it used to be.

 

isida is way too UP now, so please give it a 5-10 point increase in self healing.

 

 

freeze is OP at m0 ranks, normal at m1 and m2 ranks, and UP at m3 ranks when it comes to its freezing effect. can you plz reduce the freezing effects in the m0 stage and increase it at the m3 stage?

 

the other guns are just right, IMHO

Yup. Fun is gone.

 

I purchased an M3 kit (Wasp/Rail) instead of waiting for XMAS and getting the Rail and Wsp without any kit.. but the M2 was so laame, and boring and no fun any more, that I thought like "either I get this kit with the saved crystals I have, or I will for sure find more fun in other games until xmas. and have no idea if I return".

 

Now I have the wasp M3-post-update.. and it feels a little closer to my M2-pre-update.

Except for the _still_ sluggish turning, and the _still_ larger turning circles -.-

 

I played 2 hours of XP/BP yesterday.. but it was not much fun any more.

I honestly have not much of a clue on what to do now here..

 

ps: and if I would play monte carlo, I would be pissed as even the wasp M3 can not make the jump without a nitro

m1 viking can make the jump with nitro just fine at 10 MU

test server was open for public just played for 3-5 minutes then they closed it for pubic. And there was no option to MU m2 equipment. Don't have any m3 so don't know we can MU m3 in garage or not. Are they shifting MUs to shop? :o

This update ruined wasp's speed,railgun's damage and worst of all ruined xp/bp for m2 players...

It looks to me that the mods are  biased towards viking and freeze..

Have started h8ing this game bcuz of this

I have no official informtion; but if I would have decided it for myself, I would have deactivated the MUs for the testers as well.

The target of such tests should be to test balance, and not buying power

@Fire and Freeze penetration:

 

I've tried to observe the cut-off of a firebirds flames at te edge of the tank that I attack.. and I can not see it. In the vlog it was clearly seen that freeze is cut off by contact with an enemy tank.

But for fire in the real game, it looks to me that the firebird simply blasts through it.

 

Of course it could also be, that the fire that I see, are the parts that move _above_ the targeted tank.. but I can not tell.

Has someone observed that fire is truely blocked off, if.. let's say, a hornet hides behind a Hunter, in a few meters distance.. so it should be save in theory?

I don't really know what it exactly looks like (you could try PAgeUp), but what I do know is that the penetration no longer works.  In a Poly CP I played I can no longer spray everyone in the middle.  You can tell by the damage counters and you really feel the difference.

Yeah I used Camera-Up to see the spray.

Damage counters.. easy and nice solution! Thanks for the info.

They usually don't allow you to MU in the Test. Don't give them any ideas...

They could anyways increase the damage by 10%.. :P

 

honestly.. if not XP/BP, then most rails play mid & def/camping:

midfield: here damage-per-minute is important. Rail has one of the lowest Damage per minute ratings

def/camping: damage-per-minute and high damage-per-shot is important. Thunder seems to outperform rail already.

 

only as very long range sniper a rail is still usefull. In other roles the Thunder is better IMHO.

Am I the only one happy with firebird? It's a beast.

 

My m2 alteration firebird does 190 damage per tick, and it goes down by 10 each tick which amounts to 1900 damage in just 1-1,5 seconds of shooting without counting basic damage, and it indirectly increases DPS.

^no, most firebird users say, that the firebird alternation is op :P

 

btw a tick is 0,25 seconds.. I can't see how 190 per tick leads to 1900 in 1..1,5sec.. typing mistake?

Actually, a tick depends on the game. I think in tanki its half a second
