UPDATED - Halloween returns for 24 hours on Saturday 5th

Well, I had an interest in buying 3 specific kits during this 8-day long Halloween sale and not a single one of them appeared in the rotation. This was important because thousands of players are reacting to the new update and have been saving Cr for weeks leading to this event. Now thousands have been shut out to no fault of their own.

 

This is Tanki's idea of customer service? This isTanki's idea of making people like(?) their company? You put so much effort into an 8-day celebration and by simple overisght you blow it all. You have decided LittleWillie does not get to come to Tanki's Halloween party.

Do you see this Cedrik? Weeks ago you said this was a valid concern and you'd pass it along to the devs.  I asked you 2-3 times if you had done so. You never replied. Now exactly what I predicted has happened. Due to random chance this completely stupid rotation system has deemed I do not get to buy my kits at a discount - but other players do.

 

It's stuff like this that leave me with no fondness this company. I like playing the game - that battling. But the development and economic system is a colossal mess. The company seems to go out of their way to highlight their shortcomings. I wouldn't care one whit if this company failed as a business tomorrow. They make it clear they do not care about their customers so fair's fair.

 

I've spent money in the pasr (I believe in supporting good games) and planned to buy more gold boxes. But fat chance for that anymore.

I feel bad for you. Its happened to me before. I think ALL kits should be out, regardless of luck, especially on a discount. It is unfair that you don't get your kit on a discount while others do. This is bias.

 

I prayed to god that Glaze kit would come and somehow it came. This is "luck" but others should get the same opportunity.

Damn, I experience this a load of times too. It ain't a ghost, the tanks are present, The only thing is, there is a bug in the software, which u can see on the Battle scorecard: Half of the names are GREY. This means that either you are lagging BAD, without real time lags OR, there are BIG BIG bugs in the software.

Special themed decorations and goodies

 

For the full eight days of celebrations, we’ll be having special themed decorations and goodies, including billboards, bushes and trees (with all sorts of scary stuff on them), a box of candies to share with friends as a special in-game gift, and a pumpkin gold box.

 

Special paints and Halloween bundle

 

Also for the duration of the festivities, we’ll have two holiday paints — a regular holiday paint, and a special, shop-exclusive paint. The cool thing is that this time, you’ll have the option to buy the regular holiday paint for crystals and keep it forever, if you wish to do so.

 

The special paint will be exclusively available at a special price from the shop, and bundled with 7 days of Premium time, supplies, and 15 000 crystals

What foes this have to do with the update? Well, I guess you did not read the details. Turns out Tanki adjusted the parameters for all hulls and turrets. Some of th changes were dramatic.

 

Some players no longer like using the equipment they bought.

 

Some players were wanted to test the update before buying a certain kit until they tested the update.

 

Some players are not Gizmos that are new players who have a hard time finding the Cr to buy just one hull and turret.

 

Some players are new to the game and are the exact people Tanki needs to retain in order for the company to survive.

 

So it seems just plain old smart to me that if I were a gaming company, I would help my customers adapt to the change rather than making it burdensome.

 

So now it is your turn. Name me one single benefit to the rotation policy. Exactly why should not every kit be available for purchase every day of every year?  Exactly why is the game made better under this rotation scheme.

Thanks friend, for "getting it". Why not just have every kit for sale every day? It cannot be because there are so many kits the garage would be cluttered. ... if so why not rotate paints too?  Modules?

They get more crystals from you...

 

Because of the rotations there's a good chance you wont get kit on sale thus forcing you to spend 2x crystals.

 

Plus... if you have the crystals but kit not available, you might buy a different one for now (impulse shopping).

Then spend even more crystals later on getting the kit you originally wanted.

 

Earlier in the year before a sale Medic was in the garage. It was 2-3 weeks away from sale, had rank and crystals. But timer showed Medic kit disappearing just as sale was going to start. I bit the bullet and bought the kit as I did not want to wait for it to come back later.

Guess what - they switched the rotation and Medic came back just as sale started. D'oh!
