Appreciate what they give you. I see you all the time wining and never being satisfied with what they give.

This is a free to play game so they are not bound to give sales. Not even once a year. Plus, this is the only game that gives so many high rate discounts each year. They absolutely had no reason to bring back the map and again increase the gold box rate but they did. As far as I remember they gave so many MU discounts this year and also brought back the 50% traditional sales after 2015.

 

Ppl like this will never appreciate if there was even 24/7 365 days of sale.

The mishap with the Day 3 Halloween missions was just another example of why I say Tanki is tone-deaf to the experiences of actual players. Especially new players.

 

But credit where credit is due. This time at least they acted to address player dissatisfaction. May this sort of thing continue. If it does one day I will once again be willing to offer financial support.

The reason for the frequent sales and discounts is this: The normal prices are far too high in terms of playing hours required.

 

When you see that a store puts a certain item "on sale" all the time then the sale price becomes the everyday price. That's what we have in Tanki.  

 

Old-time players have just been steeped in this preposterous pricing system for so long they just accept it as normal. But as a new player I can tell you the current situation is a great way to ensure new players do not play long-term.

In all honesty the map was fine. It was a bit to "Bresty" but hey... snipers gotta have their maps too. It got redundant but how could it now with the 3,000 exp point missions?

 

Therewere times you got stuck with some poor teammates but again with so many players and such long missions... that's gonna happen too.

My guess is thaat is what they will do.  A MU sale after a general garage sale seems like a natural sequence. Plus they are still in the post-update-schmooze-the-players mode.

Ok I actually like what I am seeing here. I'm gonna test out the halloween map to see if golds drop. If they do the halloween map is good. But to make it better, everyone should get the halloween missions. If you want to fix this problem all players must have the mission with different rewards, such as gold box supplies, crystals, large amount of every single supply (50 of each) and 1 day of premuim. If Tanki does this, it will be the best halloween in Tanki history! :D

I see it seems so impossible at your rank even that was the case for me. The first time when I saw someone had 103,000 crystals I was astonished but it's nothing at higher ranks. If you reach there you will also see that they are quite reasonable too!

May not be equipment prices that are problem. Could be the acquisition of crystals.

 

There are now so many unbalanced battles in all team modes that who in their right mind would join the losing side.

Well - there are take-overs by druggers...

But your average player would be nuts to join the losing side because - while they may get some experience they will get a piddly amount of crystals.

 

The weekly missions help some. But I'm lucky to get one crystal mission in 3. Often none.

I saw a few jump hackers on my alt (ranked captain), and one of them took a gold box. I also saw a hacker on my main (some strange hack where he jumped around everywhere while holding the flag, and we could not kill him). I rarely see hackers even at low ranks, but the few I saw were definitely motivated by the map- lots of golds and pretty decent funds.

I guess you dont know how gold boxes work because theres a 1/10000 chance for every crystal to the fund. At the low warrant officer ranks theyre very rare. (btw i nolifed 4k xp on my alt to rank it and it only took 6 hours)

That's is why Tanki forces you to join the side with less player, regardless of who is winning. Also, I thought that players were payed individually from the BF, regardless of being on the winning or losing side. DMs anyone?

How is Tanki Hackable besides crystals and weapons with Cheat 6.1? How do get a tank to fly? I did meet a jackass who was swearign to drop a couple golds for whomever could tell them how to fly. I reckt them. (actually they reckt me)

The only reason i play Tanki because it is hack free. Not really a pay to win. the only advantage buyers have is they get things too quick. And yeah that 1000 supply kit is moved to shop as well. which was a bad move

 

 

But i hardly see somebody hacking. I saw one guy was shooting railgun with no reload time hack(back in 2013-14). Same with twins and other guns i reported. The user got banned and they updated the anti cheat system.

First of all, we’d like to apologize for last Monday’s mishap with the special missions for the Halloween map. The missions were supposed to be automatically turned off at 02:00 UTC on Monday 31st October. Unfortunately, something in the script tripped, and instead of being turned off at the scheduled time, they were turned off several hours later, which caused problems to a number of players.

 

While the situation couldn’t be avoided, we’d like to make it up to you. So, for 24 hours, from 02:00 UTC on Saturday 5th November, till 02:00 UTC on Sunday 6th November, we’re bringing back the Halloween map, together with the special missions AND the 5x gold drop frequency.

 

We hope this little gesture on our part will help make up for any inconvenience or frustration the incident may have caused you.

 

Thank you again for your patience and understanding. Have fun this weekend with the return of Halloween!

It’s once again that time of year when ghouls, ghosts, monsters and all sorts of skeletons come out to party. And of course, they’re more than welcome in the Tanki Online arena. In fact, we’ve prepared eight full days of celebrations for you to have some freakish Halloween fun, starting at 02:00 UTC on Monday 24th October, till 02:00 UTC on Tuesday 1st November.

 

Here’s what’s coming for you:

 

Special themed decorations and goodies

 

For the full eight days of celebrations, we’ll be having special themed decorations and goodies, including billboards, bushes and trees (with all sorts of scary stuff on them), a box of candies to share with friends as a special in-game gift, and a pumpkin gold box.

 

Special paints and Halloween bundle

 

Also for the duration of the festivities, we’ll have two holiday paints — a regular holiday paint, and a special, shop-exclusive paint. The cool thing is that this time, you’ll have the option to buy the regular holiday paint for crystals and keep it forever, if you wish to do so.

 

The special paint will be exclusively available at a special price from the shop, and bundled with 7 days of Premium time, supplies, and 15 000 crystals

 

Halloween themed map, missions, and increased gold drop rate

 

For 48 hours, from 02:00 UTC on Saturday 29th October, till 02:00 UTC on Monday 31st October, we’ll have a special Halloween themed map. This map will be linked to a number of special, extra-challenging daily missions that will reward you with bigger and better prizes.

 

More importantly, gold boxes on this special map will drop five times as often!

That's great news, though I feel sad for those who grinded for 2 hrs or so and didn't claim their reward, this could have easily been avoided if only the map was removed and not the mission, seeing as it would be impossible for those who didn't complete the mission to complete it once the map was gone, they would simply have to click the change mission button, those who had completed but not claimed, would have had the same opportunity as they have with any other mission. 

You should consult with me on everything and we wouldn't have these problems every holiday, No joke

 

I have learned that you cannot count your hens before they are hatched in this game.

Hopefully I can get 3 more missions under my belt on Saturday and 5 golds as well since it will be 5x drops :)

Sorry, I disagree. When a player has to wait months between upgrading his game position that is too long. Long-term interst in a game is retained by giving players a sense of achievement. In tanki you have to save up for a month or three in order to affors seeing that development in your game postion.

 

Playing tanki does not give the sense of advancement. It gives the sense of spinning one's wheels for a very long time between advancements. I am sorry, but that sort game experience is not going to be very competitive in the modern online gaming world.

This is exactly one of the shortcomings I've tried to publicize. Playing tanki is skipping from one game to anotehr until you manage to find a non-blowout at your rank level. It's a criminal waste of time to play for a losing side - no matter how well you do personally in that game.
