They not only deleted the unfinished missions, but also halloween missions finished but unclaimed... which means if you didn't claim your mission you were screwed.

 

I got screwed bigtime.  On several accounts and hours of playing time earning crystals I never recieved.

Why didn't you claim the missions if you had finished them? The missions weren't removed prematurely, they were actually removed later than promised. I'm sorry but your issue has nothing to do with the incident.

I also thought abut that :lol: Halloween for 8 days before Halloween, but not on Halloween. But I like the Halloween map, so I'm fine witch just that sticking around for another day.

I'm not trying to aggravate you. All I'm saying is that we clearly announced that the missions were going away at 02:00 UTC on the 31st October, so it's clear that you needed to claim them before that. These were not normal missions. That fact was made perfectly clear. I do apologize if there was a misunderstanding, but the announcement was clear as day.

I'm not so sure. Honestly I'm 50/50 on this.

 

On one hand, players have NEVER seen a mission disappear, so this behavior is completely unexpected. Players impacted should be compensated. Cedric has said this was a system error. Usually when those happen, you attempt to make right by those hurt, so....

 

On the other hand, I was also planning to redeem my mission today to keep my mission chains going on a day when I did not expect to play much (actual Halloween). This is LEGITIMATE BEHAVIOR which was even featured in a VLOG LIFE HACK. But when I realized that the map would be gone today, I claimed my reward in fear the mission would not be there for me to claim today. So there is an amount of player responsibility here although now that I write this out, that responsibility reads more like expect the worst from this game.

 

So I'm revising my 50/50 to 80/20 in favor of the players. Tanki Online should compensate those who lost out, even if that means a one time Crystal gift for everyone.

Except it is not clear they were going away since we were given those same missions after the server re-set.

 

So anyone that partially completed the mission gained experience but then will lose out on the bonus crystals from completing the mission.

We wasted time on a mission that could not be completed.

 

For those of us somewhat poor on crystals, gaining experience without crystals from completing said mission is not good.

last year the map was gone before the missions and this caused issues .. now this year its the opposite .. and leaving others out of finishing them .. so unfair

not all gizmo's have good garages .. some don't buy due to not needing them .. i'm one of those players who only use certain items and refuse to buy others .. sure i have turrets and hulls in my garage but there not m3 .. only 1 i think is and thats insida which seldom get used ... there are lots of players who save there drugs to use them in pro battles instead

i get what your saying and for my insida i'm not on it like others so for me its not important.. if i did use it like others then yea i agree with you on the issues about it...

 

now its hard for players including myself to get use to the time UTC due to in Canada we only use AM or PM .. so when they say 2:00 UTC i'm not sure if it was morning or afternoon...and for tanki taking away missions that would not surprise me due to there past record ... what does not sit good is why is this Halloween map and missions being removed early that does not make any sense what so ever and like i said in another thread this years missions are lame , due to last years we got missions for drugs and everything based on the Halloween map.. so why only give selected players 10050 crystals and lower ones ??

 

so what it really comes down to it is ...this year we did the tricks but got little rewards  in the way of treats........

if they had clearly said halloween maps would exist for till 1st november 2:00 utc.... time is still left.......what the hell.... i wasted 4k  to get halloween mission by changing missions .... am really upset and angry with tanki online...in total u have looted me around 14 k crystals.... i hate this game ... now ....poor management.... sick people...
