[Declined] Keeping your Battle Funds when leaving a match early

One day, you decide to play Tanki, and it is just your luck (or skills) that you are playing GREAT. As the clock ticks on, you look at the battle scores, and your score is over 9000 better than any score you have ever achieved. But as think about it, the server (or wifi) decides to quit on you, and you disconnect from the game. All your hard work is gone, and you decide to ragequit from Tanki, forever

 

You know this kind of situation happened to you as well, at least ONCE (unless your wifi network is NASA) and we all hate this kind of thing. But I am introducing a concept that will at least stop you from keyboard raging

me, every time I get disconnected

Rather than exiting and not get any funds, how about getting the amount of funds AT THAT TIME of battle?

 

 

This means that even though you get disconnected during quarter time in a match, you will still get your share of funds at that time of battle, if it was to end now

 

e.g. If a battle that is halfway though, and the Funds AT THAT TIME is 300 crystals. When you disconnect from that battle for whatever reason (lag, server crash, power outage, killer potatoes etc.) you will still get your share of crystals if the battle was to end when you got disconnected

 

So why is this idea good?(at least better than my last one)

 

This system of payment means you get the amount of the crystals you really did deserve when you exit prematurely, so no more wasting your time in a good battle but not get anything in return, just because of lag (or anything else)

This also means no more pointless complaints of "OMG ,I just got disconnected and I lost my funds, I quit Tanki!!" or any other things similar like that

This system is also fool proof, as there is no way anyone can farm off this, as you only get the amount of crystals at that time of exit.

 

So please let this Idea happen, and I hope this idea can benefit not only Tanki itself, but all those players that was once ript off their well deserved crystals (and also less ragequits)

Sorry if I you misunderstood this concept. I am requesting this affect to happen when the player gets disconnected, not when he chooses to exit, just like 

BLASTER872

stated. This idea is meant to create less ragequits, not more cheating or unfair gameplay

This idea has been rejected by developers themselves multiple times. They don't want to give you any reward for quitting early as it will ruin the competitive aspect of the game and battles will end too fast if one team sees that they have no chance of winning, or they see that the enemy is catching up so they leave before their reward decreases due to having less points than the enemy.

How about only if they lag out?

 

If "devs can't do it",

 

A programmer who cannot read

A crash script is a bad one indeed

That can be abused. It's easy to create an intentional "lag out", for example by simply disconnecting internet.
