Isida was never meant to be a lone wolf. It should be acting as a supporting character in the battlefield. Before the update Isida was way OP and a team of 4-5 isidas could get you a guaranteed win.

As designed Isida was not meant solely for "support". And tankers bought it based on fact it could compete on it's own.

By same token, a team of 4-5 rails could knock those 4-5 isidas out (even pre-update).

Co-ordinated strikes would easily defeat their healing power - especially from a distance.

Nope, Isida is a one of a kind turret which has been given the ability to deal damage to enemies, as well as heal the team mates, which is meant to give support. Previous 50% self heal made isida users self sufficient so they did not care to heal the team and rather go for flag captures. Isida was not designed/meant to be doing that. A team of 4-5 Rails can never win  I can assure you. That can only happen when enemies are not trying.

You sound so sure.  <_<

Maybe those rails were not as good as you think.

"given the ability to deal damage to enemies" by definition means it is not just for support.

Heals too yes. If you happened to play with isidas that did not heal your team well that happens. Just like other tanks may be running around collecting supply boxes for missions while ignoring the actual battle. That happens too. Fault is in the player, not the tank.

I agree with the fact that the 50% self-heal made isidas want to be attackers.  And also yes, 4-5 rails have no chance against 4-5 isidas in any maps except maybe Monte Carlo.

I agree that isida should be competitive on its own,

True, the fault is with the player, not the tank,

but those rails actually didn't stand much of a chance unless they all coordinate their fire on one person at a time, and even then they will probably lose.

I guess it depends on the map and the alignment of the tanks.

Assume medium-long range else of course short-range turrets (of any kind) would have huge advantage.

Isidas run out of juice - especially if they start healing a distance from the enemy.

It's damage is less than vulcan, and vulcan has an incredible range.  It can't heal as fast, (idk what was the point of nerfing the healing rate), and the self-healing is so little I don't even take that into account. Instead of "gives you less health", it's "gives you basically no health"

Of course it is physical possible to kill and heal, but since it is so ineffective there is no point to use isida as opposed to fire and freeze. The healing was nerfed also for some reason.

How can you say that it isn't UP?  In my experience, I agree it needed a nerf, but it is definetly UP now.  NOw when i see an isida, I say to myself, "easy kill"

I don't mean to be rude... But do you even have isida? I've tried isida on two accounts and its fine. Isida M0 and M1 both tried out. So there is no need to keep whining. No more advantages for certain players. Twins got reduced too. Do you see anyone yelling about that? Isida does 270.29 damage while Vulcan does 249.71. Both M0 which aren't upgraded. That is how much damage Vulcan and isida both do. So isida is stronger than Vulcan, so not a valid point. In case you don't believe me there are links to both isida and Vulcan. It will show you how much damage the Vulcan and isida both do.

Isida isn't UP. It just got put on same level as all other turrets, so did railgun. Simple, k? :)

Yes. Look at my profile and see how much experience and hours I have with the turret.

I'm average at best - but - I have the hours.

I know how it performed before the update (without drugs = well, but hardly OP).

I know how it performs after the update (without drugs = it dies often).

You keep mentioning m0 and m1.  I don't think we are comparing the same thing.

Yes, 'cause I have M1 and M0. M3 and M4 were OP no question about that.  I've seen isida M4 in action. And M3. Both are strong. If you need supplies to win then use supplies.

Ok, rocket launcher sounds ok, its sort of a mix between a shaft and thunder. I might get when it comes out, but it all depends of if the price is reasonable or not.

The special halloween paint that is on sale is kind of ridiculous. It cost 120k for the SAME EXACT PAINT that u automatically get in your garage when you first play tanki, the holiday paint. With That said, everyone has holiday paint, so whats the point in buying the 120k one when you already have it in your garage in the first place?

Lastly, for sales, i could not help noticing, but i believe paints are the only one that lasts 24 hours, the rest last 48, it makes sense though for 2 reasons: 1. All paints now are now pretty much equals, and 2. Next up, hulls and then turrets, i guess its time to speed things along with paints to get to the major stuff.

most players want this now the hulls and the turrets .. seeing at m3 kits you have to pay for them which i don't agree with.. so now we are going to jump on getting them separate now

"no question"... based on your user experience?

So now you're changing your argument? "Use supplies"?

I prefer not to engage in supply wars as I don't buy supplies. I use the ones I get for free when I need to.  But going down this rout "buyers" will take the lions share of winnings.

That's not a good solution.

I ain't saying supplies are good.. In fact if supplies weren't in the game I think Tanki would be really popular. But if you need supplies in order to win use them. But no they aren't good. They are unfair and they should have been nerfed to but the devs don't care. They want more and more money. Supplies are too easy to acquire.

We may not agree on Isida, but we can agree on this.  :)
