Biggest Druggers

Maybe take 10 minutes to put down your idea in one post so you don't have to post 10 times.

The best of the year: "drugging does not make you a drugger"

I believe you meant "using supply doesn't make you a drugger" . It's all about quantity.  I see we are saying the same thing but your not using the proper words.

It is well established that: the term drugger is used when drugging, e.i. intensive use of supplies. Term overused by people who do not make the distinction between supplies and drug and drops, enhance confusion and lengthy post. Enhance your statement "Mines Count AS Drugs.".

However Mines are no drugs. Mines are supplies, the abuse of mines is assimilated to the abuse of drugs.

Like supplies gain by daily mission or drops are considered by you as normal supplies (still you call them drugs), bought supplies fall under your vision of abuse therefore are drugs too. If you don't make this distinction then what your trying to say above do not make sens.

Ah, now I see where the confusion and argument is.  Let me clear up a few terms I use so you're not confused:

1. Drugs: Any supply activated by pressing a number key

2. Supplies: Any supply, picked up from the battlefield or activated by pressing keys. However, I will usually use the term "supplies" only to refer to drop-boxes, as a distinction between "drugs". Drugs are a type of supply in my book, just like squares are a type of rectangle.

3. Drugger: A player that consistently uses "drugs" pretty much whenever he can, or like you said, somebody who abuses the use of drugs.

I understand you may be confused. Let me explain:

If I am about to capture the winning flag and I press "1" on my keyboard, that means I "drugged".  However, this action doesn't make me a "drugger".  It may sound illogical but it's really not.

So our confusion results from me using the word "drug" to describe any supply used by pressing keys, and you using the term to describe abuse of this action.

So when I say "mines count as drugs" I am right, when using my own terms, because you can't pick up mines from the field, and anyway caught boxes do not count toward your overall drug total anyway.

Funny there's a 2 page discussion here on whether mines counts as supplies/drugs or not. They are acquired through the same means as other supplies and are used to temporarily give a boost to one's performance in battle, providing a large advantage over players not using them. Pretty clear, isn't it..

When I am trying to help a noob learn the game, and I have coached a few just to help them know how to start and what to buy and what maps, I tell them "protect your tank." Your tank kills the people trying to get your flag. Sure, it is fine to protect your flag and some advanced guys can lay a lot of mines but that protection goes away quickly in a hard fight. If you are camping, put a mine in front and behind your tank. Kill the attackers trying to kill you then you will be available to kill the guy with your flag.

Out of curiosity... Perhaps I am wrong (I am not an expert in drugs), but I assume you have at least 30,000 speed boosts in garage. You use Smoky/Thunder/Hammer with Viking. Any particular reason you don't use them?

I would think, that for turrets like Smoky and Thunder, Double Damage is far more effective....Viking is also a bit hard to control-gets knocked around a bit, and is decent fast.

Interesting and he is using DD (37,289) and DA (49,630). But IF @Golfinray already has those speed boosts in house (already bought but only 4,663 used), do you think there is really no need for them too? I got Hunter, which I thought to be more difficult to control than Viking, and there are scenarios where speed boosts would come handy. Basically when there is no asphalt or there are long straight bridges (Highways). Also in Monte Carlo (nightmare for Twins) you can jump to the other side with speed boost.

It's a question of how you can make the most effectiveness out of smart cooldowns, I think. ;) Oh well, always nice knowing they wasted their crystals on something they'll never use. :P

ok, Thanks a lot for taking time to explain your POV on the matter as I came here with a different understanding and approach.

Therefore using your terminology yes I'm a drugger.

Following your logic, then a player using drugs mine is even worth, as non-drugger will not even have access to them through supplies drops making the game more unfair for you.

Check some of the topic on the drug reduction you will see that i made some proposition on the matter.

Good luck in the game.

Mines may be more OP than armour or even REPAIR sometimes (freeze)

It you drive on mine yes you got a powerful and deadly blast, if you avoid them they are useless, if you kill the tank who laid them then again they are useless.

If you're a trying to escape from a firebird or isida and are in a position where you're sure to die (stronger opponent, maybe drugged to the rim), then you can use a OP mine as you drive backward and survive. This is an option or you can just choose to die.

I doubt anyone dislikes a specific drug more than another. I think there was just an explanation on why a mine is a drug too.

Your proposal on drug reduction has my approval, like many other proposals on the matter.

PS.: and yes, a square is a polygon :P  (had to check this too...)

Well it is Cedric Debono's Job as Community Manager to forward the players opinions to tanki, And if you dont feel they are listening to us then Cedric is not doing his job properly

I feel as if the only way to make Tanki a good game again, I'd have to talk to the developers in person.

I make tons of drugs on daily missions, sometimes lots of speed boosts. I just don't use them that much because I am more of a camper.

Thanks for answering. You mean a good defender... :)

Question: you mostly play CTF. Would it not make sense to "speed boost" and chase the flag stealer?

This from someone who has used only 3 speed boosts in over 1100 hours of play.

Go figure!

Sorry for my intrusion but in my humble opinion it's just common sense and logical reasoning that a speed boost helps you chase down the flag stealer, not something you learn in hundreds of hours....

If you read the whole thing, rather than getting in the middle just to throw something... He has been using many DA and DD. He has them in garage and I was just asking his point of view on why not SB. Is it clear now?

Well can we expect elaborate tactical suggestions from someone who still ignores the mechanics after playing for 1100 hours ?

I still don't get why she doesn't log off the forum for a while and read the entire Wiki in order to look pertinent when he shares ideas and arguments with old experienced players. Wait, maybe she can't be bothered to do it because this won't help her being more efficient against noob druggers anyway?

Hiding a Topic by mistake is the game mechanics you know better.

Keep trolling, kiddo

Speed boost:  increase the speed of your tank and turret maximum rotation speed.

So you can still use them when you camps, so you can be faster to turn your turret from right to left.

To people who play other games besides Tanki (i.e. FPS) drugs are almost like hacks. These "perfectly legal" items are, quite frankly, damage hacks, HP hacks, and HP regenerators. The last one isn't that bad... but the other two I'm not even going to start. Added on to how early on M3s are available in the game, P2Wers are much too powerful. I thought the common F2P FPS was P2W-- boy I was wrong.
