I've been here since before RB1, so yes, I am quite old in TO terms, one of the very few veterans that have left around.

I've seen the belle epoque of TO, hence my negativism towards the mediocrity nowadays.

 

 

 

as for the Gold - I have certain views abt it, highly negative, I admit, but it's not the right topic to discuss it now.

 

Shortly - I strongly believe, that Gold should be completely removed from all team modes, as it was with the free-falling crystals ... such items only contribute to ruining the very essence of the game, by making it attractive for kids, noobs and cheaters !!!

 

 

and last, but not least - dear boy - get a grip of yourself and try to positively manage your emotions and your life - you look ... depressed ...

1st. don't trust your impressions, alas, they are misleading you

 

2nd. don't know abt your planet, but so it works in my world, that a normal person would have never thought to have anything without giving something in return and the payback is usually with money (though assume, that even today some cultures may still use other items in exchange for goods and services)

 

3rd. I decisively do not welcome kids and teens here for reasons too many to list them all here, but one thing I will stress (again) - TO is a primarily a team game and adolescents are just not up to comprehend the idea of working as a team, to have the sense for a common strategy and collective goals !

You are still missing the point- the only reason I play F2P online games is to have fun while not spending any money.  In the online world this is possible. And this holds true for a majority of people in this world.  Games- you give your time and you get enjoyment out of them.  

A truly mature person would realize they cannot just hijack a game and tailor it to their liking...If you don't like games with teens, I'm sure there are plenty of more mature games out there- Cheers!

I agree - hate it when gold falls in team games.  DMs - fine - everyone for themself.

 

But Team Battles - more than half the time I ignore and either Capture Points or steal the Flag.

Exactly, this thread is neutral. If you view drugging as a mark of prestige, this becomes of hall of fame. If you view drugging as selfishly exploiting the game's bad supplies system, it becomes a hall of shame. Either way, the facts are there.

 

P.S. A mark of good sportsmanship does not include "despising" the losers. You already won, why hate the losers even more?

Because he specifically said drugging is the reason for his K/D (which is the only thing he cares about) and that we're all just jealous.  Without drugs he is a random noob who only cares about k/d and brags about everyone to it. He doesn't care about his team or anything. He also assumed I was just jealous and the fact that's he's proud of being a drugger means that's what defines him.

1. Again, you haven't seen me in battle, I almost always top the board unless I joined very late.  Don't assume I'm a noob

2. As you grow up you will learn that a game isn't everything. Talking with other people actually becomes more enjoyable.I help out many people on the forum and if you don't like what I say there's always ways to explain yourself without being so rude.

3.  Actually I have been playing Tanki for more than 4 years across 8 accounts...

4. Almost everybody has more CTF hours than DM hours...this is simply because there are more CTF battles. Also, I enjoy helping out losing teams come back from the bottom, which I often do. Do you think anybody who's played more CTF doesn't like drugs? I can name many druggers who have played more CTF hours.  In fact, DM battles often reward campers and killstealers, not real fighters. Also, DM battles give you more crystals than CTF battles (I know, it's surprising to you).

5. I don't like drugs, I make no secret of that.  I don't pretend to be a PRO drugger but that doesn't make me a noob. Also, I have many drugs that I am saving to use against other druggers. I do not drug against non-druggers (most people at this rank are.)

7. What makes you think I'm "hiding" in the forum? I actually get to know more people on the forum than in the game.

8. Before you accuse me of talking **** about the game ask yourself, "What am I doing?" At least I don't come on the forum to insult people.

 

In conclusion, your rude, uninformed, and ignorant post has no basis in reality. Also, I do not like arguing with immature, childish, and unintelligent people. In real life I wouldn't get into fights with a ten-year-old why would I do it here?

2000mc has over 1,000 hours in CTF mode and only 22 in DM mode...does that mean he's a weak loser noob who can't take care of himself?
