Why though, the "Player-X destroyed Player-Y" is so iconic in the game. Why change it to some silly icon?

1. Its distraction

2. It makes it look messy.

3. Like you would have the time to really look at what happened...

It's actually less messy since the icon is far smaller than the word "destroyed"

It might also be helpful in tracking ur enemies with what they're using if it's a crowded battle.

Yes, of course, we really need a new HUD for tankers. For example, if players, including me, were to play a PlayStation action/war game like Grand Theft Auto then at the bottom of the screen there is a radar HUD so that you can find your way around when completing missions.

Having a HUD also helps players in Grand Theft Auto find enemy targets whether they are people or cars.

The same thing in Tanki Online would help players find their enemies on maps (especially large maps), by having blips on the HUD as well as the turret(s) that destroyed the enemy tanks.

I am so happy that Tanki Online added a HUD. Last year, once in a post I have mentioned about adding a HUD (radar) to Tanki Online.

Grand Theft Auto HUD (Radar):

This is an example of a HUD (Radar) in Grand Theft Auto, that will now be used in Tanki Online.

I am very happy about this new update. This is probably one of the best updates that Tanki Online ever had.

It appears you got spoiled by how OP isida was pre-update. The game was getting to be not fun at all for other players, and the turret really deserved the nerf, after being literally impossible to damage for a looooong time.

Also sorry for the double post.

All turrets are OP on DD. Thunder M4 on DD can one-shot a light hull. And do it again in < 3 seconds. I'm sure that is fun for light hulls.

Shafts don't even need drugs for that. One-hit-kill no drugs.

They went too far in nerfing Isida. A reduction in self-heal - sure. An 80% reduction in self-heal while increasing price and raising rank-requirement by 4 ranks is a joke.

mate, sometimes mili-seconds are crucial. Who is crazy enough in the Polygon slaughter to take a look at that HUD (Radar)?

While you're looking at where your enemies are, the enemy team is destroying you.
